Brock

seems out of it today. 2 offsides call and blown coverage there on MJD. Looks like he came up to pressure garrard and left MJD free in the endzone.

by BurtonSnol3order on Dec 17, 2009 9:04 PM EST reply actions

I think it was Session's coverage

if Brock is being asked to cover 15 yards behind the LOS then the fault is on Coyer

What happened there?

Something’s clearly wrong with my tv… the Colts don’t score return TDs! Refs must’ve missed something… Colts-returners always find a way to get stopped before the 30-yard line regardless of open space

Let's see... before the wrist cutters continue to litter the thread with moans

We’re not playing our starting D-Line. Powers is out in the secondary, Jennings is playing as the other CB a lot. This means Bethea, Bullitt, Brackett, and Session are having to do everything. Are they going to do as well as they normally would without 5+ starters? No.

Is this game not eerily similar to last year's game with the Jags?

Peyton is 11/11 for 116 yards by halftime, last year he 13/13 for 169 yards. Last year it looked like the Jags were moving the ball at will, this year they are seemingly doing the same thing. Hopefully history repeats itself with a Colts’ victory.

the Sacramento Kings played 5 white guys on the court at once

for the first time in decades, last night. Elias Sports Bureau can’t find an instance where an NBA team had 5 white players on the floor at once in the last 20 years.

I'm sorry here...

but Clark needs to wear some darn receiver gloves. At least 3 INTs this year have been off his hands/helmet. He makes crazy sick catches, but can’t make the easy ones.

With Freeney out, that's no surprise.

Meh. Big deal.

Jags gotta scratch and claw to get anywhere. Indy can march when they don’t shoot themselves in the foot. No cause to worry.

Plus, even though I want to smack the Jags with an “L”, it’s not like the Colts need this game. =)

heard calvin johnson might be available in the offseason...

yes, sucks jennings let him score, but what fun is it to watch a blowout. im sure 90% of us are scared 0% at this point.

What does this tell us about the need for Freeney on *all* downs?

I mean, this is a perfect example of why key players need to be kept safe until the playoffs. Could you imagine how balanced, stud offenses would move on this team without the pressure he generates?
