Week 13: Wednesday Injury Report

10 players sat out practice and the Colts have once again listed some players who practiced fully on the report. Notably sitting was Freeney, Brackett, Don Brown and Charlie Johnson. Notable return from Kelvin Hayden.

Did Not Participate: Antoine Bethea (rested), Gary Brackett (foot), Donald Brown (chest), Keyunta Dawson (knee), Aaron Francisco (ankle), Dwight Freeney (abdomen), Anthony Gonzalez (knee), Charlie Johnson (foot), Jim Sorgi (shoulder), Adam Vinatieri (knee)

Limited: Tom Santi (hand)

Full Participation (but injured enough for the report): Joseph Addai (knee), Kyle DeVan (shin), Kelvin Hayden (knee), Ramon Humber (calf), Tim Jennings (ankle), Peyton Manning (glute), Robert Mathis (neck), Jerraud Powers (knee), Jamey Richard (shoulder), Jeff Saturday (calf), Tony Ugoh (knee), Reggie Wayne (foot)

The roster moves make some more sense now. Donald Brown has a new injury, causing the Mike Hart signing. Josh Thomas was replaced with another DE which means we know little about Freeney and Dawson's status and 2 O-linemen were added to the PS likely because 5 of the Colts 8 O-linemen appear on the report today.

man i think they are just listing everything now.

it seemsto me that they are even going so far as to list them if they are sore. i could be wrong but manning, saturday and such look fine. manning showed no sign of any issues yet is on the report just seems odd and doesn’t worry me to much the one i worry about the most though is freeney just cause i dont know what is going on there

GO COLTS!!! 09 IS OURS!!!

Our defense needs Freeney and Brackett in the playoffs. I've no problem witht hem taking their time.

Glad Peyton’s feeling well enough to be back in full participating. Happy to see Hayden back.

Peyton seemed fine on Sunday

I think “glute” was his way of saying, “That’s right, I didn’t practice. Why don’t you come kiss my ass and make it better?”

This injury report makes me more concerned about TN. It is excellent to get Hayden back, but I’m sure he will be rusty/tenative (see how he played the first game he came back before getting re-injured) and that might affect our pass D.

How does the TN OL stack up to the Houston OL? I want to know if we can still get pressure on VY without Freeney?

This seems like a game our offense will have to win for us, rather then the D.

I think, for what it’s worth, that a lot of Colt fans are worrying way to much about this game.
I for some time was doubting the D of this team but after their stand in the Pats game and also the Texans I was convinced how could it truly is.
With the running game that has improved immensely and all the targets that Peyton now has, let alone the return of Hayden and more than likely Freeney it will be at least a 10 point Colts victory.

My thoughts

as soon as the Colts need a roster spot Sorgi Orgy will go to IR

I mentioned this before

I think he fell while running to get Peyton some Gatorade. Of course I’m kidding, but it doesn’t really bother me too much, cause I want to see what Painter has to offer. He looked ok in preseason, but I wanna see him in real game situations. And since the Colts seem to be set on resting starters, he should get that shot here soon.

it's a possibility that he hurt himself running to get Gatorade

after all, Sorgi does run a 4.6 40, right monstersbox?

Haha

I did a FanPostt on the new QB the Colts signed, Shane Boyd. The guy may be a good QB in the future.

anothy madison back again

Per schefter, we claimed him back off waivers…does that mean he’s going back on the active roster? If so, for who?

I think

he tweeted that wrong. Cause just 2 tweets before that he said Pittsburgh got him from us off waivers. I doubt the Colts are gonna play the back and forth game
