Legitimate Complaint

Deion Sanders needs to hear from football fans!

Star-divide

Is there somewhere we can all e-mail NFL Network about Deion.

I am not talking about nasty trash talk. I am talking about hundreds of fans writing, with examples, about Deion’s obvious bias. This is a very unprofessional commentator and I believe the NFL Network should hear about it. It is obvious that the other cast members recognize it also. Rich, Steve and Marshall have all looked incredulous at times by Deion’s off the wall comments about Peyton and the Colts. I for one would like to know the best place to lodge a legitimate complaint.

This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of Stampede Blue's writers or editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of Stampede Blue's writers or editors.

I'm thinking that's a bad idea

Why does he do and say crazy things? To get attention and to get more viewers (and of course, advertising dollars). A big part of MSM is saying crazy things to get people riled up – it brings more viewers (“what will he say next?”) and just gets people talking about them more. If everyone just kept saying “Manning is the obvious MVP choice and until they lose the Colts are the best team in the league”, no one would watch – you could just get a tape out and keep re-playing it. They don’t need to be consistent or have facts or reasoning – all that matters is saying stuff that will get people talking. BTW, Kravitz is of course included in this.

Long story short, if NFL Network gets a ton of comments/complaints, they will see it as a good thing and encourage him to keep doing it.

ahh

but not if you follow my lead and cancel the NFLN! if you find a way to complain, just tell them you are going to cancel. This is accomplishing what we want, while making it clear he’s going to cost them viewers.

Is that FROM something?

Sounds like a line from a Coen Brothers movie… any one, really.

I hate Joe Namath. That's how long I've been a Colts fan.

cancel the NFLN?

But regardless of how you feel about individuals on the show, it’s the best place to see highlights, get news, watch NFL films stuff, etc. I’d rather ignore Deion and enjoy all the other stuff on the channel

maybe i wasnt clear enough

even if you don’t want to cancel, tell them you are. Its not like you CALL the NFLN network to cancel, you call your provider, but if you write to NFLN:

Dear NFLN,

Deion Sanders makes me want to take a belt sander to my testicles. I’m cancelling the NFLN, because my 2 year old knows more about football than he does.

Sincerely,

Bobalou Caterwompous

They will get the point. Especially if 2000 of us do it.

also

This is why it gets really old to see all the articles and fanposts on this site about bad media. I think it’s appropriate from time to time if something is especially bad but lately that’s been over saturating SB. We get it. There are plenty of people out there writing crappy articles that don’t accurately reflect our team. But you know what? They can’t keep writing the same crap over and over again or they’ll get fired.

Please get over it everyone. Let’s just enjoy our unbelievable team and eventually, if we take care of business, every article you see will be talking about one of the best seasons ever in professional sports.

I have to Rec and say that...

I agree. Too much crying about the lack of respect from written media and talking heads on the TV does not advance all of the positive discussion we can have among ourselves about a team we KNOW is one of the best…if not THE BEST…teams of this decade. Let the players read it or see it and use it as motivation if they choose, but by ignoring the BS, we, as fans, can show are integrity, knowledge and faith in our team and about football in general. I’ll bet that from Irsay to Polian to Caldwell to Manning, etc., they would be more proud of us as fans for recognizing their accomplishments and supporting them directly then for picking meaningless fights with media blowhards with a chip on their shoulder.

THE COLTS REPRESENT THE TRUE MEANING OF “GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP”, AS COLTS FANS WE MUST DO THE SAME!

Pressure is somethig you feel when you don't know what you're doing!

I don't have NFLN but I would especially hate to see

Deion prefacing his comments one day with “Now, all those sensitive Colts fans in Indiananana have written in to say I am being too mean to their team…” and then go on to prove what an ass he really is.

Like chat room trolls, maybe it’s best to ignore.

at some point i should be able to sit on my ass and enjoy TV, though

Deion is horrid, Keyshawn just called the Colts ‘the worst 14-0 team in history’, there are very few channels that are safe to watch free of irritation.

answer

14…he has picked against them ever week! He even predicted them to loose the bye week…what an ASS. Hey Dion, your ignorance is showing.

I agree

Sure they are paid to stir shit up, but they aren’t paid to be biased. And he is. And they leave so much out of their stories that its sickening. They are hyping up the Chargers to be the “hot” team. The team to beat. Well what they fail to mention is that while they are on a 9 game win streak, they have played the easiest schedual I have seen thus far. The only “legit” teams they have beaten is Denver, Philly, New York, Cinci, and Dallas. Thats 5 games out of 14 that they actually played decent teams. And the only one of those teams that actually just manhandled was the Broncos. (Who beat them once already) So, yes the Charger are winning, but not against good teams. They are struggling against the good ones. Don’t give me this “they’re the team to beat” bull shit, when they aren’t.
