Luke Links: The "Rick Gosselin is Jesus" Edition

For those of you have were out shopping all day yesterday and did not get a chance to view this lovely site we call home, here is a link to the Great Colts of the Decade voting articles. You can vote for the greatest running back, wide receiver, and other categories.
- Rich Gosselin's All-Decade Team features several Colts players and a grouchy, red-headed genius sometimes called "NaPolian."
- Jason Cole says he will vote for Peyton Manning as the MVP.
This is yet another endorsement for Manning from someone who actually votes on this thing. Apparently, Cole does not vote for the MVP. But regardless, I have yet to see anyone else endorse another player. - Excellent Indy Star article on the special teams and how much better they are working together as a unit.
- Jerraud Powers is listed as out for this Sunday's game against the Jets. He is still nursing his hamstring injury.
- 18to88 might have dipped a bit too much in the egg nog before writing this, but that doesn't mean it isn't good stuff.
- PhilB takes a shot at Keyshawn the Clown, who said the Colts were the "worst 14-0 team in history." Thanks Keyshawn. You might have been the worst #1 overall pick in history, or at least the most over-rated.
- Colts left tackle Charlie Johnson reminds everyone that they don't hand out trophies for going 14-0.
- And finally, Peyton Manning edged out Drew Brees for the most Pro Bowl votes by fans. Pro Bowl voting by fans has Manning, Jeff Saturday, Dallas Clark, Reggie Wayne, Dwight Freeney, and... wait for it... Adam Vinatieri making the Pro Bowl! Even when hurt all year, the shirtless kicker still manages to make the Pro Bowl voters swoon! Without question though, Vinatieri is the greatest kicker this decade.

Little mistake
Jason Cole is NOT an MVP voter, he says as much himself in his piece.
I changed it
Thought someone posted a list here with Cole’s name as a voter.

You know ESPN is pissed that it's the Colts, not the Saints, who are still undefeated
It can’t run its “Pursuit of Perfection” segment anymore since the network think the Colts are gonna pack it in the last two games. At least the Saints admitted that 16-0 was a goal for them, but not the Colts.
I know I shouldn’t watch that crap of a show, but First and 10 just does things to get under the skin of viewers. Today that Rob guy and Skip “that bitch” Bayless both ranked the San Diego Chargers ahead of the Colts in their power rankings. Skip’s reason: The Chargers are better offensively than the Colts even though the Chargers’ running game is ranked even lower than the Colts. They have a better defense than the Colts, yet still managed to allow Brady Quinn to throw 3 TDs against on them; only the Lions and Chiefs’ defenses allowed similar stats for Quinn.
When asked about why neither had the Colts as number one, Skip said that the Colts are a great regular season team. Um, I thought Power Rankings were for the regular season? He compared the team to the 2007 Patriots who played a cupcake schedule and who’s close calls were way more controversial than the Colts (that Ravens’ call still sucks…screw you, Billick!!) But that mofo had the nerve to say that Reggie Wayne isn’t hall of fame material?!?! Excuse my language, but you gotta be shitin’ me?!" If people are lobbying for Cris Carter to be inducted into the Hall of Fame, than Reggie is definitely on his way to Canton with a few more seasons of his great play.
Just had to get that off my chest!! :-)
Peyton Manning makes it Wayne on them hoes!!!!

Actually the Colts running game is ranked last.
Chargers are 31st. Yet Bayless is a clown who has no idea what he’s talking about. Wayne is Hall of Fame material and will have over 10,000 receiving yards by next season. He is Hall of Fame worthy he just might not get in b/c ppl always view him as the No. 2 guy. Don’t worry once we have the Trophy in February then they’ll show our team the respect that they deserve.

Someone saying Wayne isn't HOF material
would usually have me shopping for two tons of fertilizer. Skip Bayless, however, is payed to make outrageous statements that piss off fans. ESPN keeps him on staff to make controversial/moronic statements. I doubt even he believes half that shit that comes out of his mouth.
Anyone who has a problem with Joseph should stop watching Colts football. It's unfair to expect a back to replace Edge, and Addai has been excellent in all areas when he is healthy.

Keith Brooking???
He is kidding right? I don’t understand that one Mr. Gosselin.

Keyshawn Johnson is the worst clown on ESPN history.

Is not a goddamn fullback (he’s listed in Gosselin’s article).
The best fullback of this decade was Lorenzo Neal.
That is all.
