The Colts care about records. They just don't care about the important ones!
Manning, Clark, Reggie etc. Personal records are going to be made health be damned but going into the history books as undefeated, well...... If health is the issue then don't even start Manning against the Bills. Ah, but they will, even for just one series. One series, which has nothing to do with staying sharp and everything to do with continuing a streak of starts! If the Colts beat the Bills and go on to win it all they will be remembered forever for throwing the Jets game. To this day everyone knows Miami and Marino beat the 85' bears in an otherwise unblemished season. And they lost legitimately. If we go 18 and 1 with a super bowl win this game will be a big part of that legacy. The Colts management threw the game plain and simple and history will remember this as either the reason for a playoff loss or a terrible blemish on an otherwise perfect season.
