I know I am tainted with Bears Fail Sauce, but please let me in…

Fail Sauce is kinda tangy at first,

but you get used to it after a while. And whiskey helps. :)

Whiskey!

That’s what I’ve been missing…thanks for the reminder!

I picked Da Bears in this one so they will surely lose. Sorry, every time I pick them they tank. And I just cannot in any good faith at all root for the Favre.

The Colts, to some extent.

The Bears do not. We just fling the hapless Forte unprotected against the D, right up the middle, over and over. That’s why we can’t do jack in the red zone.

Very sad.

My wife thought she was bringing turkey, my mother forgot. She is 79 so we forgive her so we ended up with two turkeys and HAM! My brother ditched me with no leftovers so we got stuck with all of it. Maybe has one good day left.

My guess is, the only way he doesnt play is if he wins the SB.

He’ll probably air out all his innermost thoughts in press conferences and it will be dissected for weeks as usual.

Honestly, what he says about retiring isn’t nutty, it’s just a dialog that goes on INSIDE most guys’ heads, and with Favre, it comes right out the mouth.

He’s a genius like that. Remember when he got injured getting off the bus (and we got to watch Gray and Lorenzen stink up the field for two weeks). Good times.

Yes, yes, yes, and new owners wouldnt break my heart.

I am actually OK with keeping Angelo. First to go HAS to be Ron Turner, and then we also need a new Defensive C who actually calls plays.

I might be able to stomach Lovie for another year, but he has more losing seasons than winning ones at Chicago, and he simply rode the 2006 talent to the SB by luck.

Interesting poll on ESPN just now about the Caldwell Jets decision

said in all 50 states, more people thought there would have been more criticism of colts if Manning had been injured vs if Colts lost to Jets. 77% on avg.

Of course, the poll didnt address the likelihood (or even possibility) of Manning playing, winning, and NOT getting injured.

Right now I’m thinking Chargers..I know we can beat those SOBs if key guys are healthy and that friggin’ Patriots game is still giving me nightmares.

There's some truth there.

I have a much different relationship with my son as opposed to my daughter. Could be the age difference is less, could be the difference in their sexes. Who knows? I adore my daughter, but my son is perfect in my eyes.

but my dad (a Raiders fan) supports the Colts because of me. Plus, Peyton has kinda grown on him :-) Big bro is a Cowboys fan. Mom just roots for whoever we do execept the Cowboys. One of my cousins on my mama side is a lifelong Cowboys fan and as been to a few of there home games (but not this year since the ticket price increased). My cousin on my dad’s side used to be a Cowboys (along with my dad) until Jerry took over, now he roots for the Glitterkitties. Also, everyone of my mom’s side dislike the Colts, specificly Peyton. My great aunt had the nerve to say that she disliked him because he had a big head. No wonder I disown them…

AP off the field on the biggest down of the game. That’s why he’s not the best back in the league. He still can’t be trusted in the passing game. Plus the fumbles, and the boom/bust.

Vikings are the better team they should go for the option that reduces variance

2pt conv is one play. OT is at least one drive.

Colts trivia: Bears PK Gould went to Pats on purpose years ago to learn in off season with

Colt PK Vinatieri, knowing that he (Gould) would never get signed. But Vinny was his hero, so he learned, went back to being a carpenter, and was picked up by the Bears.

Go Robbie, Channel Vinny!

The original dubbing of Adrian Peterson as "purple Jesus" is blasphemous

The comment about the holes in the hands is also blasphemous, but in a way that pokes fun at the original blasphemy, which is what makes it funny in a getting-even kind of way.

I looked up Addai and Adrian Peterson's stats

to see how many times each has fumbled the ball. In his four seasons, Addai has fumbled the ball 4 times and has lost each of them. Peterson fumbled the 4 times in his rookie season alone and lost it 3 times. So far he’s fumbled 19 times with 12 losses. Addai may not rush for over 1,400 ever in his career, but at least he can hold on to the ball.

You remember last year how everyone was on the Colts because of the 9-game winning streak, yet dogged the Cards for packing in against the Pats? Health is the only thing that matters.

i think it is inbetween somewhere.

while i dont think that just cause you rest that you will not succeed do think there is something two going into the playoffs on a good note rather than on a losing streak (2 or more games). obviously this isn’t always the case. i think though if anything hurts us it will be the timing of us pulling people not the fact that we pulled people. also realize they got three weeks off then play two games then have another week off before the superbowl. not sure that it was necessary to do what we did yest. i think the best case would have been to play them 3 quarters (what i thought they would do) then next game mabye play them only a quarter.

GO COLTS!!! 09 IS OURS!!!
