YEAH - Freeney is back!
Great news, and great news about Hayden as well. I’m frustrated over Gonzalez still not returning and beginning to worry about CJ.
How can you not love a team that does this?
Huh?
What’s bad about this report? The only disappointment on the report (read: not expecting) is Johnson. Everything else is either the same or great news.

Random fact of the week from the empty void that is my mind: What should you do if a hot dog vendor gives you a free hot dog? Why, throw it on the ground, of course.
not so
i say it is still a disappointment to see Donald Brown out with no participation and CJ a little bit. great news about freeney and especially Hayden

Eh.
I expected something like Donald Brown being out since the Colts started messing around with all of those running backs this week.

it is probably just sore pectoral muscules but if he isn’t practicing tomorrow i dont think he will pull a freeney and be playing so hope he practices tomorrow

Man,
you’re fast at that, Shake. I remember checking in on Colts.com a little after 5:00, and it wasn’t up yet. Speedy.
Oh yeah, and this is the best injury report I’ve seen yet. Both Freeney and Hayden back!!!!!!! Great news!

When I'm not in class and don't forget I usually do a good job of getting it up quick
Luck is probability taken personally, clutch is probability attributed to individuals.
I'll take it as good news
CJ may not have practiced, but Freeney is back. Worth it I guess.

I would say so.

In my excitement over Freeney
I didn’t notice that Santi is also back – yeah!
How can you not love a team that does this?
Yeah,
that too. He’s been great the last 2 games.

I'm just amazed
He played 2 games without getting seriously injured!

Quite an accomplishment for him too.

I'm beginning to think Gonzalez is all the way out
Without catching a single pass this season. Such a bummer.
wouldn't they have IRed him and brought in a vet. reciever then?
it is a little disconserting that he isn’t at least practicing this week though polian says he should be soon every week

I suspect that the problem with gonzo is that it is one of those injuries that feels great on one day, terrible the next. And that they are waiting for the cycle to stop before risking undoing all the rehab by re-injuring it at practice.
This is true.
Let’s not start panicking yet. There are still 5 games to get him back into the swing of things. That’s a long time.

Yep.
This has Marvin ‘07 written all over it. Poor guy. Just don’t bring him back solely for a playoff game, please.

this sucks... hoping for a better ending than Marvin Harrison's
I felt Marvin actually messed up our rhythm and when he came back. It’s like Manning threw to him as if it was the pre-injury Harrison when he clearly was not. Didn’t he fumble the ball after a good catch in the playoffs?
Hopefully Gonzalez can at least play in the final two or three games so the offense can start clicking.
^^this
and he dropped a pass, was the turning point of the game, imo.

I thought the fumble was the turning point. We were ready to steamroll them
anyway, I don’t think it is Marvin type. We found out later that Marvin had a bursa-sac injury that they were not reporting the whole time. There may have been some misreading of the diagnosis, the x-rays and stuff. Now, I no as little about injuries and medicine as anybody else, so this is all conjecture.
We know exactly what Gonzo had. We saw him fall to the ground. We even saw the play when he got hurt. I think Gonzo just had a setback (like Brady did in his ACL recovery). When the setback was given out, before the first Houston game I believe, they early December, I believe. I wish there was some news at this point, but with 5 games left, I don’t mind them taking it slow.
EVH+DLR=BFFr........ God I Hope So!!
i'm with yall
I expect Gonzo to be come back in the final two games, with a series or two played with Peyton. then the rest with Painter (hopefully) or Sorgi. if he manages a steady practice routine during those weeks, plus a first round bye, he should be more than ready to contribute come playoff time.
p.s. this is my first post here. glad to be a part of the community!

Love this report.
Love the Colts. Love….thinking about beating the crap out of the Titans.
