Giguere signed to Roster?

Per Colts.com, WR Sam Giguere has been signed to active roster. Drew Willy back to practice squad. New practice squad additions are WR John Matthews and LB Brandon Renkart from Rutgers.

Kind of cool that his 1st regular season game is in Buffalo. Wonder how many of his followers will make the trip.
He is more Gonzo-like than Taj Smith, but are they just throwing him a bone because of where he is from and where its being played. i feel Smith is the better player, but I hope I’m wrong as Giguere has stuck around long enough to earn his shot.

yea i feel taj probably is better but at least one is going to get there shot. would like to hear this from more than this souce though

hey thanks for the info and finding the follow up to mine just so you know to link a website on fanshots you got ot use the link

button which is the chain. if you would like it would be nice if you can do that so we can have a easier shortcut :)

this doesn't make any sense though cause we know even more this week than last that we will need the third QB option.

why because peyton wont be playing hardly more than a series so painter will play so we need a backup for him so why would we cut willy i have no clue. now we put him back on the PS but we need him on the active roster for the game so this seams like a dumb move

OMG...

they are gonna rest Austin Collie at some point during the Bills game. How dare Polian and Cladwell make roster decisions like this, the should’ve texted me or typed me an email so I could give my okay……. I couldn’t pass that up.

Giguere was a standout in Canadian college football, even getting picked eighth overall in the 2008 CFL Draft. At 5’11/215, however, he has an odd body type for an NFL receiver. He’ll probably back up Austin Collie in the slot.
