Damn
Not good start to the half.

GODDAMN!
Was that the quickest Addai run we’ve ever seen or what? What a burst!
The red, white, and blue line at the 20
Turns Addai into 2005 LT.
"Brett Favre was a man who thought he was retired, but he knew it wouldn't last."
They are extinct
Now that KR has repented.
"Brett Favre was a man who thought he was retired, but he knew it wouldn't last."
When Addai is running north-south with a east-west wiggle he's great
just have to keep it more N-S than E-W
Luck is probability taken personally, clutch is probability attributed to individuals.
There is something you don't see everyday
Addai got the hand-off as actually ran fast! No little hop step
Collie
You can just interfere with him. It’s all good says Winter.

No one can hate on Addai
The dude is just killing it.
Great effort by Addai!
He’s so completely, utterly different as a player than he was last year. It’s unbelievable.
Addai TD!

Best commercial ever.
"Brett Favre was a man who thought he was retired, but he knew it wouldn't last."
You know what pisses me off
Collie got interfered with twice and wasnt called.
Then fisher has the audacity to complain about a correct call
IF you see FInnegan and an incomplete pass...
chances are he is holding or making illegal contact. That dude sucks.

someone has to replace Roidney

how good Finnegan is, is directly linked to how tight they call DPI, D holding and illegal contact

I have to say...
… that was an excellent solo tackle by Glenn. Colts special teams doesn’t have a whole lot of folks who do that. It ends up standing out when one of them does.
------
"How can a pickup truck contain enough mass to unfold into a towering machine? I say if Ringling Brothers can get 15 clowns into a Volkswagen, anything is possible."
What is it about Addai's numbers?
Consensus is that he’s running like a beast, but he only has 3.4 ypc today, and not far above that for the season.
he doesn't explode for big plays
keeps the ypc down.
by torontocoltsfan on Dec 6, 2009 1:54 PM EST up reply actions
he's consistent
YPC is usually boosted by long runs. Addai doesn’t break those. He just grinds out short effective runs over and over.
Luck is probability taken personally, clutch is probability attributed to individuals.
He just keeps
Plugging away, getting first downs when we need them, and he is amazing in the redzone
that's what I was thinking.
it’s all relative… if a runner is getting 3.5-4 ypc with awful run blocking, I guess it follows that the runner is better than a back who is gaining 5 ypc when there are no defenders on the field.
and also: yes, his lack of big plays has to be a large part of that, too. Brown was sitting at around 3.4 ypc until he railed off a 50-yarder, and shot up to like 4.2-4.3.
Get some damn pressure

So is it wrong that I want the Jags to make the playoffs?
1. Because it makes our division look that much better.
2. Because if they’re in the Steelers probably aren’t.
3. The Jags wouldn’t be as big of a problem in the playoffs.

Man, they'd be the worst playoff team in NFL history

At least they are forcing the Titans to make long drives
and play from behind.
Clark was shaken up from the play before. I don't fault him.
"Peyton Manning feels no pressure, he applies it"
it was a perfect throw though
shoudl have caught it
by metal_militia on Dec 6, 2009 2:01 PM EST up reply actions
He still should have caught it

"Brett Favre was a man who thought he was retired, but he knew it wouldn't last."
fair enough, i agree with you here
"Peyton Manning feels no pressure, he applies it"
according to some guy on the CBS pregame
since the league has made sitting out the rest of the game if a player shows any concussion symptoms mandatory, “shaken up” will be in-game code for a possible concussion.
