Around SBN: PHOTOS: Mike Moser's Dunk Face Is Spectacular

A lot of people were talking this week about how the Colts aren't that impressive because they have barely won a lot games, but we saw today why they are so good. They don't make mistakes that kill them, they are really good on third down and their defense bends but doesn't break. That is the type of ball that wins championships. The Titans just simply aren't there this season."

Jimmy at Music City Miracles pays the Colts a wonderful compliment.

Thanks Jimmy.

Great (and true) compliment to the Colts.

Random fact of the week from the empty void that is my mind: In England, the Speaker of the House is not allowed to speak.

The Titans

are a good squad, they just dealt with a lot of adversity this season. They are the only real threat in the AFC South right now besides the Colts.

I truly hate playing them almost as much as I do the Patriots..

compliment

Yes, that’s a nice compliment, but the “bend but don’t break” moniker no longer fits.

It kind of does...

Obviously the Colts are playing good defense all across the field but their red zone defense (at least yesterday) is something special.

It liked it better when we got to play the Colts by the end of the season when they pull all their starters, but, well there’s always the draft.

Go Titans!

Titans outgained the Colts and made 5 redzone trips

but scored just 17 points (and just 10 while the game was still competitive). Bend but don’t break is very applicable.

Luck is probability taken personally, clutch is probability attributed to individuals.

It's shocking how much can slip your perception

And as much as I don't care for Cold Hard Football Facts

we’ve led the Bendability rankings (which is basically the number of yards it takes to score a point) almost the entire season. We allow yards, not points. That’s running the cover 2 to perfection.

is this trend of bending and not breaking gonna continue into the playoff ?

Is all I care about . Why am I so nervous about the Chargers ? or for that matter the Patriots ?
I do feel our defense is much better than last year. It does remind me of the 2006 -07 playoffs when we won the superbowl. But, our running game is just not doing it at all and we cannot rely on our defense only to get the job done, especially against the chargers.
