Gonzo, no!
I’ve always loved Gonzo, but let’s be honest, does anyone think at this point that he’s a serious upgrade over Collie and/or Garcon? With the amount of rust he would have, its no contest with Garcon, and probably about even with Collie. If this was week 11, Gonzo would have time to get back in rhythm, but now….
What do we think, put him on IR?

Anthony Gonzalez | Colts Top Email
Speculation from some prognosticators leading into the 2009 season was that Indianapolis Colts wideout Anthony Gonzalez was poised for a breakout. Peyton Manning has ordinarily shown a good grasp at spreading the wealth to his different receiving options, and Gonzo was expected to take on a bigger role now that Marvin Harrison was out of the picture.
But Gonzalez’ injury in Week 1 has kept him out all season thus far, and there’s no definitive plan for him to return yet. The latest word came from Colts prez Bill Polian on Monday. “My hope is that we get a breakthrough here one of these weeks and that he’ll be back before the season is over,” Polian said, per Indy Football Report. That’s in stark contrast to the original targeted return of Week 7.
With Pierre Garcon and Austin Collie taking turns having breakout weeks, has Gonzalez lost his opportunity with the Colts? He’s on a relatively cheap contract now, but there are only a certain number of passes to go around. This could be an issue this offseason.
