Redskins release former Colts LBer Marcus Washington
Bill Polian once said Washington was "one of the three" he let get away. Polian was very upset that Washington opted to sign with the Redskins after the 2003 season. As far as I know, he can still play. He was drafted in 2000.

No kidding
Washington would easily be our best OLB instantly, he and Brackett are about even.

I wonder what his price and future look like
Yes, he’s a very good LB, though I thought his strength, both in Indy and DC was that he was a good blitzer—not something we do anymore. At about 30 years old, he still has at least a few more years in him. But is probably on the decline, either in actuality or in the market’s willingness to pay him. I wonder what he’s like in coverage—it’s been a while since I saw a full game of his. What if we had him last year…?
I’d love him back—IIRC he was damn fast. Darn cap space.
I hate Joe Namath. That's how long I've been a Colts fan.

who were the other 3?
Anyone know who the other 3 Polian ‘let get away’ are?

It was three
I missed counted. The three he said “got away” were:
Jerome Pathon
David Thornton
Marcus Washington
