Q: What are the team's draft needs?
A: I think you'd have to look at wide receiver, first and foremost. Marvin (Harrison) is getting older, and while he's not irreplaceable, he's been a major cog in our machine for a long, long time and one that we've come to take for granted. That would probably be the No. 1 priority if there were one there. I think you'd look at the offensive line. And then virtually any defensive position but safety, I would guess.
Bill Polian makes it clear that WR is the biggest need going into the 2009 NFL Draft.

"I would guess"
I like how Polian tries playing it cool there. Given the above statements, I wonder if he goes WR in the first round or simply “best available,” as he said he would in earlier interviews. This draft should be interesting, that’s for sure.

Hakeem Nicks is coming
Barring someone like Jerry, Moreno or one of the top OTs somehow drop, I think he is our pick.

Ah
Make that dropping. I’m too tired for this.

Just remember...
It wasn’t Marvin that got us or won us the Super Bowl. It was Manning and TWO good RB’s.

Addai/Rhodes
Which one do you consider good?

Neither at the moment. The Colts need to go for youth, and need to go for power.
This line will remain in my signature until the Colts draft Rashad Jennings in 2009.

Exactly!
Who cares if Addai was good TWO years ago? So was Deuce McAllister and he just got cut. I am not saying to cut Addai, but if he has another horrible season then yes we should cut him. Either way drafting a RB works for the present and for the future. Drafting a WR only works for the future as it takes 2-4 years to groom them.

Who do you suggest
I know there was a heated debate the other day, but who is a realistic option for the Colts, and why would he be better than Addai? Just curious.

I like...
Rashad Jennings from Libery. Big, good speed, excellent hands and rarely injured. He is 6’1 and 234lbs.

And again folks...
in 26 straight games Addai has just ONE game of 100 yards or more.

shonn greene!
after seeing many flops do well in shorts, these stats of how many reps they do are mostly worthless
that kicker was amazing in his workout and then went on to miss 3 of 3 field goals. yeah that worked out really well for him didnt it
