Free Agency Open Thread

It looks like DeAngelo Hall is the first player to get overpaid, by (of course) Dan Snyder and the Redskins.

Let's keep all the comings and goings from every team, at least for Friday, in here so there isn't multiple threads.

My guesses for the big names:

  • Haynesworth - Tampa Bay
  • Ray Lewis - Dallas
  • Houshmandzadeh - Philadelphia
  • Bart Scott - Jets

Won't be surprised

if Housh stays in Cincy. And Philly gets Marvin.

I wonder if Cassell

gets moved during this period. Detroit or Kansas City (and Pioli) perhaps?

probably not until they are sure(er) that Brady will be ready

maybe right before the draft.

I have said this for a couple of years and especially after jag fans were gloating joyously all summer about these 2 great pickups of florence and porter …these players were let go for a reason..FA = garbage.

and what the hail on catcountry of them saying fred taylor was let go with class but how polian and irsay treated harrison was classless. they need to take their blinders off. taylor wanted to stay and harrison didnt. I swear there is something stupid in the water here/ floridah!

there is not one free agent that I would pay any kind of good $$ in that list.

and the fact that jeff saturday saw the light and realized that no other team fit him better than the colts is proof too that FA is not the way to go. thank you jeff and thank you polian for getting that done

Housh to Philly

I really like that idea for Philly. I’ve always had a fondness for McNabb mainly because the fans there hate him so much and all he’s done is gone to the NFC championship every other year. Granted, he’s not an all-time great but he’s accomplished more than 90% of QB’s out there. Since they already have the all-purpose RB and the long ball Desean Jackson, I think having a sure handed possession type receiver in TJ would be a big help.

Plus, I hate the Cowboys, so there’s that.
