Interesting stat of the day: Jay Cutler is 12-1 when his defense allows 22 or less points a game.

what it says more

is that Cutler has only played in 13 games in which the D has given up less than 22 pts.

YIKES!!! BRONCOS D!!!

Diamondback Dan? Can he say that? Isn't that a popularly elected FO position?

srsly

its too bad that they will need to focus on QB and offense now instead of that stellar D. what a bunch of dumbasses….

Anyone know what Peyton's equivalent win total is with that same stat?

I’m guessing PM winning percentage in those situations is pretty high as well.

Since 2006

28-2. He’s won 25 straight games where the other team has scored 22 or less points.

Shootouts

I’d argue that games where the D allows over 22 points relies more on the QB to play well to win. If the Broncos had a shutdown defense, then Cutler would probably have Dilfer-esque numbers in a ball possession offense rather than the gaudy ones he’s put up.

Great point!

I wonder what the stats are for both Cutler and Peyton in games where the opponent has scored more than 22 points.

Or even where the opponent has had a lead going into the 3rd quarter…
