Drafter: JPBarnett Reasons for drafting: With the players available, the choice here is not obvious. The biggest needs (Both Safeties, DT) don't matchup with who's worthy of a #7 pick. Trading this pick could be a genuine possibility. Other possibilities here include Orakpo, A. Smith and Maclin. That said, Maualuga can address several holes here. Rey led USC with 79 tackles last season. His pass coverage is above average and he did grab two INTs, one for a TD. Maualuga is often compared to Pittsburgh's Troy Polamalu, who also played LB while at USC. Maualuga may not be able to make the switch, but if he could play with a similar skill set at MLB, the Raiders would be better for it. |

at NFL Shop. Even when I enter the spelling in correct, it alters the name on the jersey to “Marualru.” Weird.

It is a wise choice
But anyone from the outside will say what you did. A big need for us is time of possession and we think Crabtree can help us in that area. We don’t have a good offense and we need a light somewhere in that offense for J-Mac to throw to.
Also, we like Raji because we need some run defense help.
