I still don’t understand why people are drafting a RB with Denver. They just signed 20 of them in free agency.

I think that’s the consensus “I won’t be pissed” first two rounds from the majority of the non extreme Colts fans. I like DT/RB. Guess it depends on when the RB run begins on whether Jennings is worth a second round pick or not. I love the guy, but if D. Brown drops, I’d take him over Jennings. Then on the flipside, if no RBs are taken until the end of round 1, or the beginning of round 2, you could have a crazy run on RB for all the teams that feel they have a need there. It’s what happened with WRs last year.

Last year 7 RBs were taken in the first two rounds, 5 in the first, 2 in the second pretty much evenly spread with a mini run at picks 22,23,24. No WR was taken in the first round, then 10 were taken in round 2 because people freaked. So I guess it’s just going to come down to the good ‘ol staredown. Philly could surprise and take Jennings if Brown and McCoy go off the board. Or Brown could be there at our second round pick. Timing’s everything. Just don’t like getting caught up in the “Sound the alarm! The run on RBs has started!” That’s how teams start reaching, and why I don’t like Nicks in round 1.

I also have a feeling Andre Brown will be taken before Jennings. I’ve been hearing quite a bit of buzz about him from legit sources.

Sadly though, I think the Colts are definitely going to pick up a RB, but not until round 6-UDFA. The only prospects they’ve shown interest in are in that range. They’ve attended Moreno’s and Wells’ pro day, but that’s about it for RBs in the first 5 rounds for them. Maybe they already have everything they need from them, never know.
