Tickets prices
As a toronto colt fan desparately hoping the colts play the bills here in Toronto this year, we got the news that the ticket prices would be cheaper this year, and that they would be LOWERING them to between 100-300 dollars.
What I'd like to know is how badly we are getting hosed here.. How much do seats run if you see a home game in the Lucas Oil Stadium? (Even considering that the canadian dollar is lower this means the cheapest seats would be around $80 US)

You're getting hosed...
My family has had season tickets to the Colts since 2004, and we pay $64/seat/game. This is the 40 yard line, Colts side, at the very top of the stadium. Consider them middle level price seats.
They are able to charge that much because there is only 1 game a year, your only chance. Sadly, people will pay those ridiculous prices…

For the San Diego game last year (regular season)
I paid 365 per ticket. This was 45 yard line, 15th row back, visitor’s side (of course). It was worth it, I must tell you.

And of course they will charge more at another team's stadium.
Its the Colts. The tickets are worth more than say, the Jags.

Sigh.. it's irrelevant anyhow
They aren’t coming.. we get the jets up here. Might have to think about a trip to buffalo, but getting to Buffalo in January can be tough.

My family has had season tickets since '85
But we gave them up this year because they went up nearly $400
i got a letter yesterday
I received a seating request form from the colts yesterday. I have moved up from 7777 to 1761 on the waiting list from last year. This means there is a chance to draw season tickets for this year.
Today I faxed back the request form with my preferences. My preferences were; 1st- $640, 2nd- $740, 3rd- $940, 4th- $1190 price range. They did state however that this request does not guarantee season tickets, just a chance. Keep your fingers crossed. I will be notified around May 15th of the outcome.
What do you think the chances are of getting our seats this year with the way the economy is and all? Curious what you all think?
Your chances are good.
Very good. There was a recent story that there only was a 90-95% season ticket renewal rate from last year due mostly to the economy. 5 percent of 70,000 is 3,500 (There’s all the math I’m doing today.). They offer the season ticket holders (like my family :-) ) a chance to extend the # of seats they have first, but judging on how far you moved up last year, I think you can start planning to see Peyton play in person come September. Congratulations! Lucus Oil Stadium is great!
