Recapping my "fool's errand" at Pats Pulpit

Feels good to be back in familiar surrounding. Changing my avatar and my profile text was difficult, but the event and the joke made it worth it. Unlike PTI, we SB Nation writers don't generally like to post "fake" news for April Fool's. We take enough crap from traditional media about being "fake journalists" that to actually engage in fake journalism, even for the sake of humor, just makes it that much more difficult to get some respect in this crowded media world. Thus, blogs like The Big Lead, Deadspin, and our SB Nation faction typically do not engage in April Foolery unless the joke is obvious. And in this case, with MaPatsFan and I switching sides, we felt it obvious.
