How can we change that percentage

to something along the line of 0%. That would help us Colt fans breath a collective sigh of relief.

Karma vs. Curse

I don’t like this one bit. Lets all hope and pray this isn’t true. Manning isn’t as stupid and ignorant as Brady was when he got greedy and stepped into a pass he shouldn’t have made. Donzo, shredded knee. That was more of Karma than a Curse.

This is a Curse and if your not a believer or think its nonsense so be it. Although, maybe the retirement of John Madden will lay this Curse to rest. I just don’t want Peyton to be the one that brakes it.

i’m gonna have to go with a “no” for him being on the cover

by danorocks17 on Apr 21, 2009 9:42 PM EDT reply actions

It's actually only 11%

There are 9 “finalists”:

Ed Reed
Adrian Peterson
Brandon Jacobs
Ben Roethlisberger
DeMarcus Ware
Matt Cassel (?!?)
Polamalu
Fitzgerald
Peyton

Any of them except Peyton or Peterson is fine with me. I still gotta win in fantasy.

Vince Young

Had him on 08.

I doubt it’s Peyton. Peyton could’ve been on the cover since 99 and changed the name to Peyton NFL 09 if he wanted to. I don’t see why he’d all of a sudden change his mind at 33 about it. Doubt he’s struggling for endorsements.

Jim Sorgi runs a 4.6 40. That's all I've got to say about that.

Well if you remember...

Peyton was the face of Microsoft’s football game I cant remember the name of it right now, but it sucked. So peyton was probably undercontract with microsoft until a couple years ago…

Game was called

NFL Fever 2004. Completely pointless but slighty interesting story to go with that game. It was in fact NFL Fever, that got me interested in NFL. I randomly bought the game as it was relatively cheap and looked alright, plus my mate raved about it. Anyway, when picking a team to follow, I was torn between New England and Indianapolis believe it or not. I obviously had no idea of the history between the teams at the time, they just both appealed to me for some reason. The deciding factor in the end was the fact that Indianapolis had a player on the front of the game who at the time I only knew as “that guy on the cover”. So you could say Peyton Manning, a.k.a. “that guy”, is the reason I support the Colts and not the Patriots, not because of any of his on field accomplishments but simply because he appeared on the front cover of a game I bought. And to think, had Tom Brady (or any other patriots player for that matter) been on the front cover I would most likely be a Patriots fan today :O.

Eww.

That’s a frightening thought. I’m sure you feel as though you’ve chosen the right team in hindsight, yes? =-)

It’s Fitty. It’s totally Fitty. He’s so hot right now, like Hansel.

I don't think it will be Peyton

at least, I’m praying it won’t be Peyton. Gotta be Fitz. Please be Fitz.

Polamalu!

1. Defensive players need love too
2. Madden curse on a Steeler? Er, yes please!

The Patriots offensive line on the cover would be better, mind.

Or Scifes.

I wouldn’t mind that.

1) Pats OL
2) Scrifes
3) Polomalu
4) Reed
5) Chris Johnson (Titans)
6) Rivers

My personal order of “curse” preference.
