• A team that had a great draft was Indianapolis. While a receiver wasn't added, Donald Brown is now the team's best running back. Fili Moala gives them a difference maker in the middle.

My take.

Really? Donald Brown now the teams best running back? I know that alot of people here at stampedeblue argue endlessly about Addai and I'm here to start another one.

Addai is proven in this league already! He has been to a pro bowl and won a superbowl.

People look towards last season and say well "he sucked". The entire run game sucked! An o-line filled with rookies and depleted by injuries notably Jeff Saturday will surely make running the ball a chore no one could handle. While Addai did indeed have an off year last year, I fully expect him to be back to his regular self this year.

Donald Brown may prove to be the best running back EVER, but he may also prove to be a BUST (hope not). Joe Addai > Donald Brown until proven otherwise.

Indianapolis hit with Austin Collie in round four. Other than that, Terrance Taylor at defensive tackle, cornerback Jerraud Powers and quarterback Curtis Painter are just decent selections.

a decent pick at the end of the fourth it just retarded, sorry. Great value. I think the jury is out on Jerraud Powers, and I can’t really get a fic on how I feel about Painter.

I think I agree with you

I was a proponent of drafting an RB early to throw into the mix, but I think Addai is still the #1 guy until further notice. I think he will be the primary 3rd down back and will get 50-60% of the 1st and 2nd down snaps.
I’m just happy they addressed the running game with a good complimentary back.
