awesome video!!

Love his stiff arm… he definately doesn’t have the home run speed (people catch up to him), but it’s not like we don’t have Peyton to throw it in the next play if he runs for a 35yarder instead of a 50 yard touchdown or something..

Gonna be fun to watch the 2 headed monster of J & D!!!!!

three things I love about D Brown

1. Understands that the first job of the ball carrier is to gain yards. He seems to have as his target for every run to get at least 2 yards beyond the 1st down marker.
2. Pretty soft hands. He caught some ugly passes in this video.
3. sick stiff arm

Who care about break away speed if he can consistently give #18 a new set of downs to work with.

D Brown

Big East is one thing. NFL is another. I hope he succeeds. I do not like how he holds the ball though, not close enough to his body to protect it. Does he have a tendency to fumble AND can he take a “big” hit?

His technique (relating to the way he carriers the ball) has been questioned by analysts and scouts, however he only had something like 5 fumbles in over 600 carriers, so it can’t be too bad. Can he take the “big” hit? Hard to answer this one until he actually plays a game and cops a sanders like hit, although it would appear from his highlight vids that he is a pretty tough runner.
