No #17 for WR

We’re not the Giants, here.

Well

Gonzo wears #11. It’s a new “fad” now for these young WRs.

True.

I completely forgot about Gonzo…it’s Friday, my brain has taken the rest of the day off.

Well

82 and 89 are retired and 88 won’t be reissued and will be retired when Harrison officially retires. That makes 7 options for tight ends and receivers before they have to go to the 40s and 10s.

Anyone remember...

the last Colt to wear #1?

Also, as excited as I am about Fili, I will be sad to see #95 be placed on anyone but Reid. I really liked him. I’ll never forget that hit he put on the Titan in 07.

I was just going to say

Chris Henry has #95 permanently tattooed to his FACE!

Perhaps

he will make #95 even more memorable. I’ll be hoping.

#49??

isn’t that a strange number for a DB? Oh well….

I would like to see Chad Ocho Cinco traded to a team that already has a #85 on the roster. Then, I would like to see #85 refuse to give up his jersey number to Chad Ocho Cinco. That would make my day....

Well

Jason David was 42 and I’m sure if I looked I could find other DBs on the team who have a number in the 40s. I’m tired and can’t think of any right now. 49 is just weird because it’s so high.

Nice.

That hit from Reid is an All-Time Great. Could hear the snap-crackle-pop in the cheap seats. Followed by a collective gasp. Then mayhem. Stellar.

I like the #17 pick. Jennings sucks enough he should have to give his #34 up to The Rook.

Think about the potential for D Clark, A Gonzo, A Collie, and J Tamme to all be on the field at the same time. You’d think Larry Bird was in our War Room…

It takes time!

Peyton has lots of new options for the passing game. Hopefully he can start to develop confidence in his new teammates during the preseason.

Pat McAfee wearing #1

This is going to usher in an era of me-first kicking that rips at the integrity of the sports itself.
