SI.com identified the five best and five worst owners in each of the four major team sports. The method was not scientific but based on numerous factors, some of which are indisputable and some of which are intangible. Among the criteria used to evaluate owners was the willingness to spend money to improve the team; the stability and capabilities of the front office and management; the amenities at the team's venue; and the club's culture and interactivity with fans. Of course, weighing heavily in the decision was the team's success or failure on the field. (Note: Records are through 2008 season.)
This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of Stampede Blue's writers or editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of Stampede Blue's writers or editors.

my bad
"Daryl (Morey, the Rockets general manager) and I were talking this morning. We both discussed how great Tracy is in the playoffs. There's very few people who have the ability to step up their games in the playoffs and he does. So we're not looking to run away from Tracy." - Houston Rockets Owner, Leslie Alexander

I guess you have to have more than 1 ring or SB appearance to be in the
Super cool owners club. Atleast that is what those stupid paid writers at Sports illustrated think. But Irsay does not spend big bucks nor does he make himself look like an ass by drafting/aquiring loud mouth – over paid idiots like T.O. Yet he/Polian and company have drafted numerous Pro-Bowl caliber players that don’t starve for the spot light………..Maybe Manning……just a little bit. Ask the average NFL fan if they have heard of Dallas Clark, Gary Brackett, or Marlin Jackson and 95% of the time you get “no”. The Colts need just one more Super Bowl and I think the average fan might cosider the Colts has a power house football team. Because in the end it doesn’t matter how many regular or post season wins a team has, but the number of rings they have on their fingers. The fans remember the campions, we remember countless play off loses to the damn Patriots/Chargers.
OH NO WE SUCK AGAIN!

Dallas Clark, Gary Brackett, or Marlin Jackson
A lot of people know Dallas Clark from were I live. His performance during the SUPERBOWL run has cemented his legacy on the national stage. As far as Bracket I know he is underated. The most common answer for Jackson will be. Who?
