Wow

Dungy suggests that Vick should come to us to turn it around? If thats the case, Tony better give Polian a good argument to sign him as well as ensure he Vick will sign for a vet min so the minute he does something stupid, he is gone and their will be no cap hit.

Are you kidding me?!

Wasn’t able to watch.

Reasons NOT to sign him (Colts)

  1. - We have Peyton
  2. - We have Peyton
  3. - We have Peyton

Need I say more?

Looking at it objectively

Vick could be a potential backup for Peyton, but could also be plugged in as gunner, kick returner or RB. And I doubt anyone’s going to offer much more than the vet minimum.

How can you not love a team that does this?

Objectivity...

ok, I can play that game…

I can’t see wasting the cap space on a QB who may or may not grasp the system. Not to mention the potential “problems” off the field.

Yes well

I chose my words carefully, hence the liberal use of the word “could” ;-)

Trust me, I doubt this would happen, either.

What I heard

was different from Dungy suggesting Vick should come to the Colts. I thought the question was if Irsay were to approach Dungy about Vick, what would Dungy recommend. Dungy’s response was that he believed in Vick.

Yeah I may have exaggerated on what he said

I think it was more in the lines of “Vick can turn it around if he were placed in a locker room like the Colts.” I bolded “like” to state the Dungy may be merely suggesting that he needs a positive atmosphere with a lot of role models. Our team just happens to be the standard

let me rephrase the first part

Yeah I may have taken what Dungy said a little out of context not exaggerate.
