Post-Rookie Minicamp Roster Prediction
Now that all of the undrafted free agents are signed, I guess it is time for another roster prediction. This should be the last one for a while. The earliest would be after the minicamp which is open to the public where we will see the next Colts stars in person, but it could be until traning camp or a major cut or signing.
I am very excited about this team after the UDFA signings. I do not think it will equal last year where 5 UDFAs (Foster, C. Johnson, Simpson, Silva, Senn) played in the regular season, but it will provide the Colts will more than one solid player. A few really stand out, but they will not make a major impact like they did last season. It is in depth chart order.

I'd keep Dawson over a 10th lineman (11th with PUP)
I’d also keep Jennings over Hughes or Coe who haven’t been able to beat him out for playing time.
Half the game too lazy
still sleepin' on me
but I'm 'bout to wake 'em
-Lil' Wayne "Fireman"
Coe and Hughes have had injury problems
And I think Coe can make a huge impact on special teams. I’m just not a Dawson fan. He’s too much of a tweener and I don’t think he falls into the scheme of what Coyer wants to do.
"I saw a commercial on late night TV, it said,'Forget everything you know about slipcovers.' So I did. And it was a load off my mind. Then the commercial tried to sell me slipcovers, and I didn't know what the hell they were."

I'm not convinced yet that the DTs are a change under Coyer
and not just another reload of the position. I think the cuts will tell us which it is.

Jennings
I think one of the reasons he is getting alot of playing time, is because he is a second round pick. Im sure Polian does not want a bust with such a high pick….
… Then again, Ugoh got benched and he was a second rounder, so I think your right.

Jennings over Coe
Atleast we know Jennings can play. Coe better have a good camp and preseason because I think his head is on the chopping block.
OH NO WE SUCK AGAIN!
even though we have only seen coe during his rookie year
I think the kid can play. The only problem is keeping Coe healthy.

Jamie Silva?
You really think someone like Hughes will stay on the team over Silva?

If Jennings will learn not to make stupid mistakes
(PENALTIES) I think he would be ok. His drawing penalties at the absolute worse possible time (3rd and longs, for example) were the most frustrating thing to me. Hopefully having had a little experience at the position last year will stop his bad habits…but of course, I hope the Marlin and Kelvin don’t need a back up during the season…
"I throw, you catch. It's NOT that hard!"

3rd Q.
Polian talked about carrying 3 Q’s thru the year, so move Painter up. Can’t have him on practice squad anyway or someone will gank him.
Move Jennings up and lose Rushing so The Don can have his #34…
