Around SBN: Jeremy Lin's Game-Winner Was Incredible, Worth Remembering

I would like to thank the Colts, especially Jim Irsay, for this second privilege to join the team. I apologize to everyone for the situation I created last year. I have learned valuable lessons from my mistake, and I want to re-gain the trust of the organization, my teammates and our fans."

Newly re-signed Colts DT Ed Johnson, apologizing to fans and the Colts for his behavior in September 2008. Johnson was re-signed today after getting kicked off the team for smoking weed and speeding. More fallout from this HUGE event coming...

Wow. That's great!

Irsay, Polian and Caldwell must see something in him that is giving them faith.

Very exciting indeed.

As a fan, I can say that I am more than willing to forgive…just stuff that run!

Programming warning!

If you turn to NFL Total Access right now, they’ll be talking after the commercial break about why they think the Colts will miss the playoffs this year.

Tune in to join me in laughing at their stupidity.

I'm pumped

Our DTs have improved a ridiculous amount this offseason. I mean, I knew they would get better, but we could only see a small number of DTs from last year even make the team because we added so many good ones. Johnson, Moala, Taylor and Grady should all make the roster.

Rod Woodson

said the Colts won’t make the playoffs because the Jags and Texans are better. Haha he’s stupid.

Woodson has never had a good thing to say about the Colts.

I stopped listening to him after we won the SB. Jerk.

NFL Network analysts

are actually pretty smart. They were right on the money last year pre-season when they said we were overrated and would most likely disappoint and miss the playoffs. How did that turn out? And extremely injury-ridden team that lost two impact DTs (welcome back Ed, stay off the pipe this time), went 12-4 behind the truly inspiring play of the league’s best QB, fighting an injury of his own, made the playoffs, and lost due to a depleted D-Line (problem solved…i’m assuming) and a horrible officiating job in OT. Oh, and Peyton didn’t get to touch the ball in OT thanks to the NFL’s stupid OT rules. We win the coin toss, we win the game. End of story. Let ‘em say we will disappoint again, and let’s see what happens with a healthy roster.

but they didn't know about the wave of injuries when they said it

that makes them more lucky than good.
