Luke Links
- Let me start things off with a little random thought: I hate twitter. I'm only 24 years old but I even I don't "get" the point of this stupid thing. It's a breeding ground for narcissists and voyeurs, and the fact that Peter King uses it should be enough reason for any sane non-narcissistic/voyeuristic person TO STAY AWAY. Why the hell should I care what random people are thinking or doing at random moments throughout the day? And besides, if you are going to use it, you might as well go all out. In which case, maybe people will stop reading it once they see all of their friends just took a shit or just finished fapping to pictures of Heidi Klum (hot). Graphic, I know, but it had to be said.
- So then, news...news...oh yes! The Colts re-signed Ed Johnson. No one saw this coming, and if some douche nozzle tells you otherwise, then you have my permission to kick them in the crotchal region. I didn't agree with the Colts releasing him in the first place, especially considering how much the Colts NEEDED him last season. But whatever, it's in the past now so let's look forward. In looking forward, the Colts' defensive line is one of the sickest damn defensive lines I've ever seen. Mother of god.
- And of course, there's also news that Howard Mudd is retiring (hopefully not). You just couldn't let us be uber pumped for more than a few hours could you football gods? I curse thee!
- I don't think the Colts are going to sign Larry Foote now, he just signed a one year deal with the Lions. Usually players don't long to "return home" until they are near the age of retirement. Considering Foote is only 28, I don't get it. On the other hand, I don't really care either.
- haha Sam Huff is my hero. The world needs more Sam Huff's.
- So the NFLPA warned players about Hydroxycut because it's DANGEROUS. I wouldn't take that crap based on the name alone.
- The Brown stains signed Mike Furrey. I kind of like this move. The Browns have been impressing me as of late.
- (refuses to post any Favre updates)
- (refuses to post any Patriots updates)
- Danny Ware shows some confidence. I rike his attitude.
- Coach Caldwell on the linebacker positions and who will be filling them.
- Michael Irvin says he's floored that the Giants didn't sign a veteran receiver to replace Plax. Lay off the drugs Irvin. You don't have to bring in a veteran to replace someone. Braylon Edwards sucks and Anquan Boldin would want too much money. Besides, the draft is cheaper and more reliable.
- Simeon Rice still wants to play football.
- Albert Haynesworth is being sued by the guy he nearly killed last December. If you don't remember what incident I'm referring to, I wrote about it here.
- Michael Fabiano made a list of the players who could be the biggest disappointments for your 2009 fantasy league. No surprise (to me anyways) that Joseph Addai tops the list.
- The NFL announced the 2009 legacy games.
- The Saints cut a couple of players who were arrested for having a good time.

Twitter and Narcissism
First of all, your rant shows that you clearly don’t understand what Twitter can be used for. I don’t know anyone on there posting about going to the restroom or anything else that nobody cares about. If you don’t like what people are saying, then you don’t follow them. Just like I would love a way to ignore your posts on this site and read everyone else’s.
Secondly, to accuse anyone of narcissism on your part is completely hypocritical. Having a blog alone does not convict someone of narcissism, but it could since you’re basically saying that you have an opinion or information that is worth hearing. KRs writing in particular always takes the “I’m right, you’re wrong” stance. It’s downright comical that KR would rant about people being arrogant, then link the story on Haynesworth to something he wrote. Don’t read credible news sources, read what I had to say instead. That actually be the narcissism definition.
Top of the List???
Of course Addai is on the top of Fabiano’s list. The list is in freaking alphabetical order. You just skew it to your argument by not making mention of that, OR it is simply incompetence.
For all the railing this blog does against the arthritic newspapers, they do have a little more integrity in their writing (Kravitz excluded).
I expect more from a Colts blog.

Nice
I was waiting for someone to catch on. Though I don’t know why you decided to start flaming this website instead.
Just like ctnyc said the other day, everyone here needs to lighten up sheesh.
I write words and stuff for Stampede Blue.
