Know Your Colts History: Digging for Treasure Online

Ebay is an amazing site, but it's also an amazingly weird site.  You can find just about anything up for auction, which can be both a good and a bad thing.  If you're looking for that rare Peyton Manning rooke card, you can probably find it.  If you're looking for that rare Peyton Manning game-used jock strap, you can probably find that too.

After the jump, we'll take a look at just some of the Colts-related items that you can find at auction.

Apparently when you touch the button on the talking BBQ fork it replays some radio calls from famous plays in recent Colts history.  I'd probably be more inclined to buy it if included what it sounds like Dallas Clark tries to fire up the grill.  "Hey guys, do I pour the propane on the grill or the lighter fluid???"   Maybe I'll just do a little of both!

Boy, if it wasn't for the white collar, the numbers being too thick, and the stripes being down at the bottom of the sleeve, rather than around the shoulders, this wouldn't look like a cheap counterfeit at all.

If you're going to buy the talking BBQ fork, you might as well go all out.

Hey, it's not often you get a chance to own a rookie card of THE GREATEST WIDE RECEIVER OF ALL-TIME.

Normally, I'll support just about anything a fan does, even if its crazy to support a team.  However, I'm pretty sure I draw the line somewhere before team-colored garter sets.

And all this time you thought that Abe Lincoln was a Bears fan.

Sure, it's middle-school grade humor, but you still probably laughed when you read that.

I never truly realized how much Edgerrin James looks like Rick James until I saw this bobblehead.  Maybe they're related somehow.  I think this will end up being the subject of a future Know Your Colts History.
