Not a done deal, but it might as well be: Brett Favre to the Vikings
Daily Norseman's mad captain Gonzo gives his recap of Brett Favre's exclusive interview with Joe Buck on his new HBO show "Joe Buck Live!" In the interview, Favre pretty much stated he expects to play for the Minnesota Vikings next year. The Vikings first game of the 2009 campaign is a pre-season game against our Colts. If Favre does what everyone expects (and what he strongly insinuated in his Joe Buck interview) he will be Minnesota's starting QB against the Colts.

A Dr. Blue post on him generated no discussion. No one wants to talk about him anymore.

It's been time to give it up for a while now...
Is he really going to give another city all the hope in the world only to be average at best again? This guy thinks he is the king and doesn’t care what goes on in the world outside of himself. The Vikings need a QB that is careful with the ball when they don’t hand it off to Peterson and Favre is everything but. I don’t understand why either side of the party wants this to happen. Brett Favre will always have a shadow over the end of his career now because of his antics to better himself and not his team.

He's made Green Bay fans hate him
He’s lost his legacy everywhere besides in the media.

Peyton acting like Farve in the twilight years of his career?

No - I can't
It would be like Manning going to play for the Patriots just to stick it to the Colts. What a way to make EVERYONE hate you.

If Favre was a few years younger and was going to sign with the Vikings that’d be a pretty scary team. Now, not so much.
Yeah, so I sold out, do something about it! Like read my site Colts Chatter.

actually
i hope if he plays for the Vikings they/he does well this year. otherwise all this garbage we hear day in and day out will be for nothing.
either way……..i hope this is the next to last offseason we hear about it (since you know he’s going to try and come back this year, then it will be up in the air for at least a couple of weeks next year)……im ready to poke my eyeballs out.

Seriously!
This guy is a joke, Im sorry. He had a good career then went and trashed it with the whole crying thing, then unretiring, then re-retiring, now appearently un-retiering…AGAIN!
This saga is starting to really get on my nerves
