He's my teammate now," Brown said "He's one of the guys. . . . I've worked out with him a couple of times. It's been great. He's very knowledgeable. He's like a coach out there.
"Whatever he says, I try to let it soak in."
Donald Brown talking about some guy on the Colts named Peyton. Maybe you've heard of him.

He's like a coach out there.
With all of Manning’s knowledge of the game I’d think he’d make a great coach when his time comes.
I know it would be too good to ever be true….but Caldwell’s replacement in 5 to 7 years?

I hope that Peyton is still our QB in 5-7 years.
I remember Reggie saying once that Peyton is going to have to be dragged away from the game kicking and screaming.

Hopefully he doesn't end up like Favre
But I think he’s good enough to into his 40’s.

That sounds too much like Favre…I hope not.

Same here.
His mental preparation will keep him very good a long time after his body starts to fail him.

I just can't see Peyton pulling a "Favre"...
When Favre retired last year (before all of the hoop-la) Peyton was asked if he sent one of his “happy retirement” letters to Favre. Peyton smiled and replied that he hadn’t yet cause he thought Favre would be back.
During the “Summer of Favre” last year, Peyton was asked about the situation and how he would feel about retirement…Peyton responded something to the effect of “I hope I know when it’s time for me.”
I think he’ll know. Or at the very least not hold a press conference announcing his retirement and then be a guest on Greta’s show complaining that his team won’t take him back. I still can’t believe Favre pulled that.

Who is this man of whom you speak?

I think he may be some backup punter somewhere.
No one important.

Either
Pat McAfee or Tim Masthay are totally offended that your insinuating their job might not be that important.

Ah, I don't care if they're offended,
‘cuz they’re not important ;-)

Whatever
I just want to know how awe struck he was when he first walked past Jim Sorgi in the hallway. I bet he got goosebumps.
Poor Sorgi
I know a guy who’s an Ex NFL player and works for the league. He says Sorgi is a good back-up who is perfectly capable of running that offense. That may be true, but is capable of scoring 6 for the team? Anyway, he looks good holding the clipboard.

Hehehee
Hoosierdore, you are a mean person.
