NBC should just announce when a player or coach retires and does not join the Sunday Night Pregame Show.

Great
Bettis was real homer and anti-colt analyst

Good move, but even Dungy can't save NBC's terrible crew
Collinsworth is awful, Olbermann is horrible, Tiki is a stooge. Costas and Patrick are alright, Al Michaels is a great play-by-play, but that’s it.

Agreed on Collinsworth.
He had a horrible man-crush on the 2007 Patriots, but I think (hope?) that it’s over now. Give him a chance next to an awesome play-by-play guy live Michaels.

No
He’s bad. He’s the most anti-Colts person on TV. More than anyone else on that show or anyone on ESPN. He’s bad.
"I saw a commercial on late night TV, it said,'Forget everything you know about slipcovers.' So I did. And it was a load off my mind. Then the commercial tried to sell me slipcovers, and I didn't know what the hell they were."

I have absolutely no recall of Collinsworth being that bad,
but I spend most of the Sunday Night Pregame Show watching the end of the 4:15/4:30 games. At least one of them always runs to 7:30-8:00

I find that Collinsworth doesn't offer anything any other color guy can
And he’s so damn smug and thinks he’s a football genius. Absolutely can’t stand him.

Agreed.
Smug and anti-Peyton/anti-Colts. I’d rather do without a “color commentator.”

Costas and Al Michaels are legends, and Patrick is good for a laugh or two every now and then. The rest of them, especially Olbermann can f.o.a.d.

Great.
Now I actually have motivation to watch that pregame show.

I've never watched the pregame show
Mainly because of who they had on it – they were just this side of ESPN’s Monday Night Football crew (the worst in all of football broadcasting). I may give the show a shot now.

For me...
the biggest anti Colt guy ever is Boomer Assioson!! And I know his last name is spelled wrong!

Sunday Night Football
Collinsworth is definately Anti-Colts. He’s been saying the Jags will take over in the AFC South for a couple years now. He’s been proven wrong, but he never admits to being wrong. If he did, it would be very classy. But he won’t. I love it that Tony will be on TV on Sundays.
