Stampede Blue Radio Returns [again]!

This evening, I'll be using Blog Talk Radio to re-start Stampede Blue Radio, our podcast for this blog to discuss Indianapolis Colts football. Because of timing, we'll have to start tonight at 6pm Eastern. Blog Talk Radio's page for the podcast offers all the details you need to listen in and participate.
I'll also open a open thread here for the podcast. You can post ideas, comments, and questions there. The podcast likely won't have any intro music or cool sound FX. This is more me re-acquainting myself with Blog Talk (haven't used it in two years) and with podcasting in general. We may have a guest on to talk football with. I'll keep you posted.

So lets talk about something other than BBS having real life pop up or not being able to work the site after two years off
More sacks in 09, Freeney or Mathis?

Mathis
I still think freeney will get in the double digits, but because of his age, the Colts might sub him more with Howard to preserve him longer.

that
and freeney gets more attention anyway. Mathis, being on the left, goes up against less athletic RT’s.

Sacks from players besides Freeney/Mathis
over/under 15

After listening to 18to88's podcast yesterday It got me thinking about the TE's
I was thinking we could use a special 3 TE set on offense with Clark out wide with Wayne, Tamme in the slot and Gijon/Santi in at H-back. we know that Clark can do things out wide and if Tamme can show that he can play out wide as well, we could have a great formation to run and pass.
what do you guys think about this?

I wouldn't want to take Gonzo off the field for Tamme, Gijon or Santi
but I can’t think of a reason it wouldn’t work if they did.

I dont want it to be a staple or an every down thing
just situational. I think if the colts use it, there best bet for it to succeed is down in the red zone. Assuming, Tamme has developed decent blocking skills, it would provide great blocking in the running game, and big bodies, with good pass catching ability at the goal line. kind of like that modified shotgun the colts use to run the ball at the goal line.

I need to get to listening to that new 18 plays
I guess I’ll do it while prepping the WR data for a new post (combining all a players 50+ target seasons over the timespan) for player evals.
