2009 Colts Mini-Camp: Pat McAfee draws some cheers
John Oehser, making my life easier with these updates from Colts mini-camp at Franklin College:
Among the practice highlights was punter Pat McAfee. The rookie from West Virginia showed a strong leg and drew cheers from the crowd with several long punts.
4,000 people showed up to watch the practice yesterday. 4,000! We've come a looooooong way from the days in the old Dome where is the game wasn't blacked out locally, we practically threw a parade.
Pat McAfee could become a fan favorite very, very quickly.

wow I wonder if the espn…nfl today show is watching or reading anything about the actual colts offseason. I had to turn if off yesterday because I swear they have the IQ of a florida voter
so mcafee can kick? saying that with the sarcasm needed when responding to a colts reports of demise
carter telling us we have the worst special teams and Im wondering if got the memo that the crapsonville bedazzlers have OUR old worst special teams coach. HELLLLLLLO chis we dont have him. so
and then they said peyton was on the way out. at 33 matt ryan is going to take over his great play…WTF? and I repeat helllllllllO clueless loser. peyton won an MVP by himself with one leg….I swear these guys are dumber than an elected florida official
the D is too small. again HELLLLLLLLLLLLO hassleback and cris. did you not get the memo or watch any of the draft…we drafted BIG GUYS?
and the final one. the colts are done. NOBODY can replace dungy. NOBODY. just need to move the team and change the name because NOBODY can replace dungy.
how are these guys allowed to broadcast this crap and not get fired. I swear they have no clue what team they are actually reporting on.
cris carter is a punk.

Paul Kuharsky also has a nice write-up

The thing that I found interesting was:
Details: While special teams work went on at one point, quarterbacks worked alone. Peyton Manning lined up in the spot where he imagined a defender would be on a specific play and looked to offer detailed commentary/advice/coaching to Curtis Painter before he took a few drops envisioning the full 11 that could be opposite him.
