I'm looking at every sack reel of inside guys around the whole league," Foster said. "I just want to see what moves are more beneficial to the inside guys. I just really broke down film a lot."

Eric Foster, who has been modeling his game after former Vikings great John Randle. Colts d-line coach John Terrlick coached Randle in Minnesota.

Gotta love Foster

I’ve heard some crazy-talk of Foster being cut. Not a CHANCE. Not only has he gone out and PROVED his game on the field (the Pittsburgh goal-line stand is an instant classic), but the kid is a hard worker and tough as nails. He and the Johnson twins by themselves will make up a formidable rotation, to say nothing of our newfound rookie depth. Amazing how one position can go from such a weakness to such a strength so quickly.

I cannot wait to see how good our defensive line will be this year

They should scare the daylights out of any opposing quarterback this year. With some sure tacklers in the linebacking core we should be all set to make a run at the Super Bowl.

I am excited at its peak when thinking about the Defense going into the season. Out of all the years from the D, this is by far the deepest in my opinion. So in essence, if injuries do toll up (no jinx intended), I think the D can still hold its own and still be really effective. The following players may not start this year but have started in the past:

DEs: Howard, C. Johnson, Dawson (assuming he moves to the outside)
DTs: (not quite clear as of yet…one of the three between Foster and the Johnson’s will not start), Mola, Taylor, and watch out for Grady, Muir has to have a huge TC to even make the team.
LBs: Hagler, Keiaho, Seward, Senn (good STs player)
CBs (may not be the deepest but still is legit): Jennings, Powers, Hughes, Coe
SS & FS: Bullit, Matt G. Silva

Anyone missing or someone we should look out for?

Note: Even though most of these players will get plenty of playing time with different uses of various packages, the starting lineup will not consist any of these players for the most part. This gives me another reason why I think the STs (coverage unit) will be really effective this year.

How about Rushing at CB

I look for him to have a good shot at the nickel or maybe dimeback spot, plus in the returner rotation.

I also wish I had time and motivation to blog at Speed Blue Nation

Insider info

I believe this is the tape that Eric Foster has been looking at.

Awesome!

How can you not love a team that does this?

Ed Johnson

He does the same thing, but he puts on some Jefferson Airplane and kinda spaces out.
