Am I the only person who’s worried about going into a pre-season game tomorrow with only one QB to back Peyton up? I'm pretty sure it's common practice having at least 3 QB's going into pre-season, especially when your only back-up is fresh out of college!
Let’s say Peyton plays 2 series, or on the outside, one full quarter, that leaves us with a frackin’ rookie playing the entire rest of the game!
What happens if Painter goes down with an injury?
Do we really want Peyton wearing himself out on some 3rd-string Vikings defense in the pre-season?
Do we want our already jacked-up O-line sacrificing their bodies protecting our franchise QB from some upstart Vikes rookie trying to make a name for himself by taking out the best QB in the league?
Are we going to sign another back-up or what?
I don’t know about you, but these questions are going to keep me awake tonight...
