Marvin Harrison to Tennessee?

Adam Schefter (busy at work in his first day of at ESPN), mention on Twitter that not only does it look like Marvin Harrison may play, but the Titans have called to gauge his interest.  Sounds like the right offer may get him to play (I guess that's the case with anyone though).

"Marvin Harrison isn't done yet. Would like to play this season, given choice. Tenneesee has called. Harrison waiting for right opportunity."

While it would suck big time to see him with another team in the division, I can't say he would scare me in any way. Not at all.   And I have 2 Harrison jerseys hanging in my closet.

please add a question mark to the title or something

I thought it had become a done deal in the last hour or two, rather than just a link now being available.

It's shocking what you can miss sometimes. The amazing color changing card trick.

I almost crapped myself when I read the title...

Then I read that it was just a possibility. Thanks a lot. You owe me some underwear.

My bad

I meant to put a question mark. Could have sworn I did. Oh well, now it’s there and I guess it provided some entertainment value.

Would it really be surprising? The Titans are required, by league rule, to inquire about the services of all current and former Colts. Expect a Jason David sighting in Nashville soon!

I just threw up in my mouth

Marvin a Titan?

That wouldn’t surprise me that if any team went after Marvin it would be Tennessee and the timing is about right. It seems like about half of Tennessee’s team is composed of former Colts players.

NO Please say it isn't so!

Not in our division. This is just wrong.

Marvin

It’s too bad that Marvin made such a big deal out of leaving the Colts. If he had showed interest in other offers and tried the market he might be able to come back. The Colts would have paid him more than any other team would have. Tennessee is only interested in having someone who can give them inside information on the Colts this year. Their team has gotten much worse and they have no chance to win the division.

The Titans love to take our free agents.

I disagree

If you were a player, would you want to take a paycut? Especially after watching everyone else getting raises? I wouldn’t, not when he’s earned it…I doubt Marvin will suit up for any other team not named Indy, and depending on how the rest of the preseason goes, he could very well still sign with the Colts. He could also be retired, we shall see.

I do know this, if he doesn’t suit up this season, he’s done for good..

At least he won a SB ring, at least he played in the playoffs, and he’s got stats that will last a LONG time..

As for the AFC South, it’s almost a prerequisite to try an sign former Colts, as all 3 teams have former Colts on their roster.
