As I mentioned it earlier, I am currently in the Phillipines and ill reside here for a little more than a week. Because of the time difference and duration of my flight, I was unable to catch the game, so my observations might be a little shotty. Without further adu, here was what i was able to gather from the highlights on NFL.com and your comments
1.) If it wasnt apparent then, it is now; Charlie Johnson is not a starting LT. He got beat off the line on almost every highlight I saw by a terrible DE. Caldwell shoulrd pull the plug on him now and shift over to RT or leave him as a utility back up
2.) The defense is starting to flash a little bit of what we are expecting to see. Despite the fact that they were playing against several Eagle backups due to injuries, we have seen this defense faulter to any team regardless of who is playing. Seeing them play stout against the run is a huge plus. The only area I woud like the defense to be more productive in, is interior pass rush from the DT's.
3.) Speaking of flashing, TJ Rushing is starting to show why he was drafted to be he returner. The only thing he needs to do now to ensure the job is be consistent.
4.) The Colts have 2 viable running backs for the third RB spot. The only problems? One is injury the prone, the other needs to take advantage of that.
5.) Peyton Manning is ready. That GIF BBS posted says it all. Hide the women and children, Peyton Manning is ready to kick ass and take names.
You know the drill. Fire away
