As long as it's not a freakin' knee
The shoulder injury is the epitome of the “He’d play in the regular season but preseason doesn’t matter a bit so we’ll hold him out” injury.
Exactly.
No knee news is good news, imo.

This might actually be a positive
We get a chance to look at the guard depth working with the starters. Anybody know off the top of their head who’s backing up Lilja? Richard maybe?
According to Indystar....
…Lilja will miss the game with a bruised shoulder. Coach Jim Caldwell doesn’t anticipate Lilja missing much time. Jamey Richard will fill Lilja’s vacancy at left guard.
"Just being a bit cautious at this point,’’ Caldwell said.
So it doesn’t sound bad at all, I say hold him out until the regular season.
IN POLIAN I TRUST
Something good:
And Richard will fill-in for Lilja, so (as mentioned above) we can check out a back up playing with the first team. Not so bad. (I hope)

All gravy
As long as Richard doesn’t give up 3 sacks in 6 plays
I'd donate a kidney in exchange for Pdiddy and my colts to get 2 more Super Bowl rings...That's LUV

Eh, we're still good.
Just a minor shoulder injury. Nothing to be worried about. Move along now, nothing to see here.

Yep.
Rub some dirt on it, brush it off, walk it off, whatever. No worries.
