How deep and promising is the mix? Consider Keyunta Dawson, a 254-pounder who started 14 games last season, has been moved to end, and 265-pound Eric Foster, who started 11 games as a rookie, has his work cut out to avoid slipping down the depth chart.
Mike Chappelreporting the Dawson is now a DE. Wonder what this means in terms of rotation and depth

Two things
Either it means they want to keep more defensive tackles (in which case Curtis Johnson is now fighting for a job and guys like Muir and Grady have a better shot) or they want to keep more defensive ends, and the guys at DT are under more pressure. Gut call, I think they want more DEs than just 4, and the DT competition just ratcheted up a notch.
