2009 Colts Training Camp: Notes from 8/5/09 Walkthrough
Tonight it the first evening practice for the Colts. It's a chance for fans to really see what the team is working on without having to take a day off or, worse, having to get up a 6am in order to make the drive to Terre Haute. Therefore, because tonight is such a well attended practice, the Colts did what was essentially a walk through this morning.
As always, Eric Hartz was there to Tweet some details back to us:
- Colts DBs are working on more man-to-man coverage
- Defense worked through a scenario of offense inside 25 yards line. The d-line Coyer worked with was Marcus Howard, Fili Moala, Terrance Taylor, and Keyunta Dawson.
- Austin Collie was the third WR the entire time with the first string offense.
- Colts used a two-back set in shotgun with Mike Hart and Donald Brown.
- Colts mixed Dallas Clark and Austin Collie at slot receiver.
Check out ColtPower.com for more Tweets from Eric, espeically tonight if you can't make the night practice.

Fili, man just relax and it will come
Just watched the interview on colts.com with Fili Moala, is it just me or does he seem not very confident in the way he has been performing as of late…

Nerves?
He seems nervous, but I don’t know if it is for a lack of confidence. You hear him talk about “technique” over and over; the coaches must be laying into the new guys about techniques and that can only be a good thing. He’ll be fine once he gets into the rotation and gets a little game time experience. Like you say, relax and it will come…
Oh god, I can’t believe I’m going to be cheering for a player from Southern Cal.
lol
