I know Burgess was a bit sub-par last year, but the Patriots once again managed to rob the Raiders of one of their best players. He's a pass-rusher to boot (only one of the Pats' biggest weaknesses this year.) Bummer.

Oakland is their new farm team.

What, does Oakland feel indebted to New England in some way? Next season are they gonna trade Asomugha to the Pats for a sixth round pick?

From one evil empire to another.

The terms posted on Pats Pulpit make it sound like much less of a robbery

a 3rd next draft, and a 5th in 2011. Burress is 31, injury prone and holding out because he doesn’t like his contract. No matter how talented he is those are serious issues.

You think you notice most everything around you, but in reality you're nearly blind to everything outside of your current focus. Hilarious example.

How dare you!

Compare the great Captain Jean-Luc Picard to Al Davis! You should be ashamed!

no you see

Captain Jean-Luc-Picard just gave Al Davis the facepalm for his stupidity.

Now I get it… I thought I was going to go all Klingon blood-rage on your ass there for a second.
