On the Jags side Thomas (back) and Landri (knee) were limited in practice. Both are listed as probable. Zach Miller (the lesser) missed a 3rd practice this week and has been ruled out due to a knee injury.

Phil B expects Fili Moala to sit, but doubts he'll see significant time even if he suits up.

John Oesher reports that Antonio Johnson, Daniel Muir and Eric Foster is the Colts likely defensive tackle rotation for Sunday, according to Coach Caldwell.

All that talk during the off-season about bulking up...

And we go into our week one game with the same DTs we had last year. I know Ed Johnson will be back in a week, but it is still depressing.

wrong

Muir didn’t play in last year’s Jags game and when he did play, he didn’t start. I just hope his tackling issues (and for that matter most everyones tackling issues) are fixed

well Muir was hurt and Mookie hadn't been signed for the early part of the season.

A full offseason/camp/preseason in the system should mean Mookie and Muir are much more useful. Plus next week they should have Big Ed and Moala in there too.

It's not just your perceptions that can be wrong. Even your memory is often incomplete or possibly flat out wrong.

Hang in there.

You’re almost there.

Now a proud annoyance on Stampede Blue, 18to88, Indy Football Report, and Phil B's blog.

Man, I need a life...

Random fact of the week from the empty void that is my mind: This is how I fell in love with Family Guy. Only 1 question: Where did he get the flamethrower?

At least today I'll be distracted by college football

Hopefully the rain stops in Berkeley when it’s supposed to – I don’t want to be sitting there in a downpour… in September! (hey it’s California – what can I say? we melt in the rain)

Sanders!

I’m sorry but is anyone else tired of him always missing regular season games every year? He is supposed to be our “best Player” but yet cant help us all season. Sorry but Bracket is the unspoken best player on the defense and atleast he is always healthy! “Knock on Wood”

Well...

If we’re passing on Sanders as the “best” player on defense (an honor hard to give to anyone), I would nominate our pass rushing bookends over Brackett. Still, Brackett is a key part of our defense and it hurts if he misses time. Particularly with Keiaho as the backup. We will have to see how much time he misses but I agree generally, Sanders needs to stop missing large portions of the regular season or we cannot afford to take his cap hit.

I am about as big of a Sanders fan as there is but objectively, it is the way it is in the NFL. It’s a business and if he can’t stay healthy, his salary is bad business.
