The Colts go 8-8

according to Adam Schein.

last week on Sirius radio he announced his predictions for every NFL team.  I emailed him to ask for his list of games he predicts the Colts lose, but to no avail.

Here's a link to his story on Fox sports

According to his picks, if Indy were to go 8-8 they would be in the same grouping as

Washington 7-9

Minnesota 7-9

San Fran 8-8

Among some others.

And only 3 games better than the Lions.  are you serious!?

That's right, the genius of Adam Schein who gets paid to do this stuff, thinks that the Lions have improved so much, and the Colts have taken so many steps back, that there is a mere 3 game difference between the two teams. Didnt Indy win 12 games last year.........and the Lions won......well, we all know how many they won.  Making predictions in the pre-season is a risky move.  Even though we've watched 4 games this last month,  today we will finally see what the team really has to offer the fans this year.

We all have to be realistic and say that the Colts will fall from grace at some point in time.  i personally dont believe it to be this year.  i also dont believe that the team will tank as long as Manning is at the helm and playing at a high level.

Go Colts!!!!!!

Hmm

He’s also picked the Pats to win it all. Talk about a jinx.

i dont understand

why everyone is picking the Pats to win it all.

maybe they think thats what everyone wants to hear.

its part of the reason why im so sick of New England. i respect their team but i just get so tired of everyone giving them the Lombardi trophy before the season starts.

Somebody needs to push Scheins face down.......

Not only is his gimmick ridden web show irritating………He has to exhibit stupidity with his predictions.

After watching the game

it’s clear the Colts gave 14 points away in the early part of the game. Instead of 14 to 12, it should have been at least 28 to 12. Oh well……at least they won. I’m psyched!

I love how he says

“losing Seymour doesn’t hurt your team”.

Uhh, Adam? Where are you getting that? I’m pretty sure that losing a five-team DL anchor will hurt, and even if not, how can you have any idea if it will hurt or not, considering they haven’t played a game this year without him.

Either way, 8-8 is ridiculous. The last time the Colts were that bad (2001), Adam was probably selling fake hats in time square.

Betting against Peyton Manning winning is like

Betting against Tiger Woods. (got that from Gruden). Now I’ll quote Bugs Bunny, “what a maroon”.

Wonder

How they play golf in “casual” mode given that both of them are so competitive?

Good question.

I’d volunteer to be caddy just to find out. Picture this, after losing to Tiger on the golf course, Peyton forces him into a spiral throwing contest just to make things fair.

maybe

8-8 is possible if Gonzo stays out for ’09, Brown gets tossed off the team for dealing crack on Washington St, we lose 3 more DTs in a single season, and Bob Sanders retires immediately after stabbing Dwight Freeney in the leg… or if something bad happens and Peyton is injured. (Does Adam have a guy with a rifle in the rafters at the Luke?)

The schedule is VERY favoriable this season, with only 2 cold-weather games (mid-NOV in BAL and Week 17, which may be a virtual bye, at BUF). Our opponents are the NFC West (at least 3-1), AFC East (2-2 at worst), the AFC South (4-2 is average for us lately), and DEN and BAL (1-1 at worst)… that’s 10-6 for the pessimists. I’m calling another 12-4, especially now that we got past the first JAX game. (They always play us tough.)
