Manning vs. Brady-----PTI today?
Just a quick poll.
There were some great points in that Manning over Brady post(Something like a pats fan has seen the light), also, in PTI today, it was mentioned that Brady, outside of a few great passes and 1 good quarter, was not himself.
The Colts, by fans, haters and Pro analysts alike have a projected 11-5 season(i feel strongly 12-4 is more appropriate)
The Patriots, by the same people(from what ive read and asked) have a projected 11-5 season, but many have said 12-4 fits better, after monday night(Which makes no sense, he has 1 good quarter.
Enough of that, heres the question, not whos a better quarterback, but who will win more games?
Now ok, if you ask me, the colts will go 16-0 and the patriots will go 0-16=D, but seriously, try to throw away all bias-ness. The Pats went 11-5 with MC, and 12-4 wouldnt be tough w/ Tommy boy.
So who thinks will end up in the reg season, and deeper in playoffs?
Real quick, heres my take:
I believe the Pats will be the winners in the reg season, but i do strongly believe Brady's knee as well as the Pats defence(that if you watched the game, Trent Edwards succeeded against them) will not hold up in the playoffs. So unlike years past, Pats in RS, colts when it matters =D ahh what a nice change

Brady injury
It took Manning a few weeks to get comfortable after his injury. I think he’ll feel what it was like to be Manning during the years the Colts D was average at best. He may have a big year statistically, but come playoff time the Patriot D won’t be enough.
Don't buy into analysts
If what the analysts say hold water, then wouldn’t the Dallas Cowboys be SuperBowl Champs for like 25 years running?
Chargers would actually have won like 3 Superbowls by now
if analysts knew anything.

According to the analysts
Chargers are going to really preform this year.
I guess thats why the raiders almost beat them.
And as for the pats, the Bills are still a crappy team, they played badly last night. The fact that they almost won was just how badly the patriots played.
Playing devils advocate...
Many think the Jags are a crappy team…and we only won by 2. In the NFL a win is a win…no matter how you get it.

Divisional matchups are always tough. Kudos to the Pats for pulling it off at the end.

I thought the Raiders played well
Well, the D at least. Russell was a nightmare. SD looked pretty average, but they had a superior QB (not saying much). That game was about even, but should not have been. That would worry me if I were a jump-to-conclusions week SD fan.
Flipside, Indy was clearly in charge over Jax. They did not dominate, but there was no point when the outcome was in doubt, was there?
Flipside 2 and 3: The Bills dominated the Pats and lost it on a lucky fluke fumble deep in their own territory.
Which team feels luckier/more relief with their win? Which team deserved it more? Everyone concedes that the Bills are in disarray and freefall—the Pats should sacrifice bulls to Zeus in thanks for that W. Plus they lost the center of their D for a chunk of the season. The Chargers too should give thanks, a little less so because the Raiders D looks to be for real. The Colts, despite a close points win, faced a team that is probably better than the other two losing teams, and won more convincingly. Ergo, Colts 16-0, Pats 4-12, Chargers 7-9. Or thereabouts….

I hate Joe Namath. That's how long I've been a Colts fan.
Hilarious!
