So I was having breakfast with my dad this morning, and he mentioned that his father's family is from Greenville, Ohio. Also from Greenville, Ohio? Patriots Left Tackle Matt Light.
My dad's side of my family carries the surname "Licht", which happens to be German for "light". Apparently one side of the family changed the name after they emigrated from Germany, and the other didn't.
So yeah. Apparently the guy protecting Tom Brady's blindside is a distant cousin.

Matt Light sent me a large picture of himself blocking Dwight Freeney. He signed it and everything. It’s been hard to hate the guy ever since.
