Peria Jerry out for season
Alot of us over here were very big on Peria Jerry coming into the season. Its sad to see injuries like this but I can't but exhale a sigh of relief for Polian over looking this player

Polian knows what he's doing,
and we don’t. That’s why he’s filthy rich and why I’m going to be sprinting across campus around 8:30.
Now a proud annoyance on Stampede Blue, 18to88, Indy Football Report, and Phil B's blog.
Man, I need a life...
Random fact of the week from the empty void that is my mind: My chemistry class decided to have their first test on Monday, September 21, from 8:00-9:00 PM. The Colts play the Dolphins at 8:30 that same night. I don't think I can be any more ticked off right now. I think I'm going to kill someone. No, really. I just haven't decided who yet.

Sad
It’s sad to see this happen, but this is the injury history that many flagged when he came out of Ole Miss. Again, Bill Polian is THE best draft evaluator on the planet. If Jerry were there at Indy’s pick last april, Polian likely would have passed on him… and we fans would have roasted him for it.
Shows you what we know.

We all wanted him
But deep down, we all knew that his age and injury history would be a huge liability. I was pretty relieved that he was off the board before our pick.

I argued against drafting him on numerous occasions. I’m not saying that to toot my own horn, just trying to separate myself from the pack. : )

depends if it's a freak thing, or an extention of the nagging leg injuries from college
if he just got hit, or stepped on wrong then you can’t really call it a reason to of avoided him (like if god forbid Don goes Mike Hart on us picking him wouldn’t have been a bad decision.)
It's not just your perceptions that can be wrong. Even your memory is often incomplete or possibly flat out wrong.

Little shocked here...
as far as I know…his injury is not the “nagging injury” that came with him from college. He is busted up good. As for Polian and drafting guys…he is good, but not clairvoiant. Last I checked Mike Hart was injured…Bob Sanders can’t play a full season…
Injuries happen…this one is sad and very unfortunate.
