have you seen the Sounders?
its the same color scheme. I think they’re great, but I’ve always had strange taste in things.

Other than the Patriots winning, don’t think the early games could have gone better from a Colts perspective.

At this point
I think I’d rather play the Patriots than the Jets (The Patriots are playing a soft 4-3 defense instead of a blitzing 3-4, whereas I think the Jets D could really give the Colts O-line problems, and Revis has shown an ability to shutdown good WRs, so it would be a pretty tight matchup)
Depends on who they play..........

looked like defensive pass interference
but maybe more wishful thinking
How can you not love a team that does this?
Well, I think Id rather them win the AFC west
than the Chargers… although with Jamaal Williams out for the year, maybe the Chargers lost some of their bite, although we thought that last year with Merimen out.
Hopefully our coverage team gets its act together

Brees passes his way to the goal line
then lets them rush it in. Gotta be more selfish than that Drew!

Random fact of the week from the empty void that is my mind: The Atlanta Falcons are the only NFL team to never have back-to-back winning seasons in franchise history.
I don't want to sound like Im crying over spilled milk
but after watching Brees put up 50 points a game and still throwing in the 4th quarter and after watching how Brady got 50 (similiar game plan) the record means little to me. Peyton got KILLED in the media in 04 for throwing in the 3rd quarter of some of those games, but Brees and Brady get lauded for running up the score with 2 minutes left. Fuck the record, fuck brees, fuck brady.
I feel you there
but if thats what it takes to shut up the media about Brady and 50, then thats what it takes. I’ll let it slide just this once. Although Brees has yet to “run up the score” His D is shitty enough that they’re never going to run away with a game.
Indianapolis Colts, taking focus away from my DBacks every Sunday.
I think their D is better than it has been in the past
but they score so friggin fast that teams are doing nothing but throwing constantly, so it pads stats.
they're like us in 04
Good enough to get turnovers and end some games, but bad enough to give up the points necessary to let the QB keep throwing.

i havent watched much steelers fb this year
I believe you, but I’m 100% serious about the Colts opponents. Jags get like 10 penalties a game, until they play the Colts, then they are the most disciplined team in the league.
Last week we saw Jake Long set a record for False Starts at 89, and got 0 called. Its like they are saying, "Hey, Polian, stop pointing out our faults, or we’ll make it REALLY painful’
2nd 3 and out
We should get better field position this time.

and I think about 2 with lil’ bro and the Trump for Oreo, so about 4.
"Do I believe in aliens?" Stephon Marbury asked. "I don't know, because I've never seen one. But I believe in Jesus because I saw him in the shower the other day."
ATM:
1. Lifelock stupid commercial
2. Peyton and JT Part I
3. Peyton and JT Part II
4. Sunday Ticket promoting Eli
5. Sunday Ticket with cheerleaders in the background
6. Sunday Ticket with Eli also talking
7. Oreo Double Trump
8. HDTV with Jim Nantz showing off his karate skills
That’s 8 commercials currently running. Can anyone think of any that I’m missing?

Here you go
References to pumpkins date back many centuries. The name pumpkin originated from the Greek word for “large melon” which is “pepon.” “Pepon” was nasalized by the French into “pompon.” The English changed “pompon” to “Pumpion.” Shakespeare referred to the “pumpion” in his Merry Wives of Windsor. American colonists changed “pumpion” into “pumpkin.” The “pumpkin” is referred to in The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, Peter, Peter, Pumpkin Eater and Cinderella.

The Cardinals are a great matchup for the Colts. The Colts play great pass defense, which is about all the Cardinals can do offensively.
They are pretty average defending the pass, and 18 is slightly above average.
34-21 win.

The only thing that I’m concerned about tonight:
The Colts are 1st in the league in Yards / Drive, and the Cardinals’ defense is 3rd best so far this season. Some sustained drives will be great tonight.
Buckhalter, then McFadden
but Raiders are challenging because the Broncos player who recovered the fumble stepped out of bounds first. Raiders could get the ball back inside the 10 still

Dear Drew Brees
Please don’t throw the ball at the green stuff any more. It can’t catch.

So, which division gets the “Dumpster Fire” award? I mean, Jax may be the Dumpster Fire team, but I’m thinking the AFC West gets it this year. The Chargers are terrible, the Raiders have possibly the worst QB in the league, the Chiefs have officially quit on their coach and GM three weeks into the season, and the Broncos, who everyone expected to be terrible, and probably couldn’t beat any of the teams in the AFC South, are leading the division. Thoughts?

the commercial for such an object would be the greatest thing ever to exist, bar NOTHING.
Hey
Dumpster Fire team won this week. I think St. Louis are the real Dumpster Fire champions.

St. Louis and KC
can battle it out for the ‘dumpster fire team’ award,
but division-wise, I’d agree with the AFC west.

Brees doesn't have a single TD against Buffalo..
he now projects to be throwing -39 TDs against CAR in week 17.
Saints still in control
Buffalo has no offense worthy of the name.
Damn these have been some ugly, ugly late games.

I’ve seen far too many examples (okay, well, two) of questionable TO decisions this weekend…

there was something magical with Dungy
I agree. I do not want anymore changes but I loved how Dungy held himself higher than everyone else.

Brees blew today
Is he still elite?
"Brett Favre was a man who thought he was retired, but he knew it wouldn't last."
Brady has blown the last 3 weeks.
and that a 16/29 170 yard 0 TD 0 INT game counts as Brees blowing just shows the standard he’s now held to because of his level of play with the Saints.
