nice
I’m somewhat surprised that Collie didn’t run a quick route on that too with all that cushion he got.
Well, when we have a 4 second delay

OK
that was a play where I’m not a fan of Addai. He hesitated even with empty space in front of him. Just going could’ve gotten him 5+ yards.
1st down
Offense is clicking now
"Brett Favre was a man who thought he was retired, but he knew it wouldn't last."
their corner must be really terrible
for giving him that cushion.
If Arizona had fans they’d all be screaming about it ;)

Okay...
Thanks to MarkFive05 I have a new theme video that I hope you all will remember me by: BAM BAM
Look
I understand that Addai has a tendency to jump around a bit and Brown’s decisiveness is nice to certain circumstances, but don’t act like Addai couldn’t have done the same thing or that Brown’s style got the MOST. Sometimes, patience is a virtue when running and speeding to the hole can cause you to miss out on a better opportunity to gain yards.
I also wish I had time and motivation to blog at Speed Blue Nation
I'll point out that you admit yourself that Addai is less decisive and jumps around...
You guarantee me that he would have run to the hole as quickly, directly, and without a hop in his step and I’ll say, okay, we just disagree about how we look at the two runners. If you say, well, he may have hopped around a bit or side-stepped, and I’ll say… then he wouldn’t have gotten two yards because the hole would have been gone. That’s the reasoning for my comment.
Thanks to MarkFive05 I have a new theme video that I hope you all will remember me by: BAM BAM
OK
Let’s agree to disagree. I believe both running styles have their pluses and minuses. I love both RBs, but I think Addai fits our system very well…

This is what happens to the score
when the defense holds their own.
Attention everyone who wants Jennings to take more chances:
Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie is a PERFECT example of why Jennings playing conservatively in our defense is a good decision.
As Collinsworth is astutely pointing out.
I can see why players don’t like him much. If you screw up, even a little (what DRC did there was no major sin), he’s going to roast you.

Bullard...
I think Addai is a great system RB. I am not trashing him, I just think Brown is better a huge majority of the time. Usually Addai is a great route running, pass catching, blocking running back who is a nice “change up” from Brown because he tries to do more to be shifty. I would just like to see Brown as the feature back getting most of the carries as I think his speed, ability to hit smaller holes, and ability to make better cuts, particularly on the stretch play… make him a better feature guy for us.
That said… if you get teams over-pursuing because they’re used to Brown’s speed, running style, etc… you can catch them with Addai who can make guys over-pursuing miss. Just my take.
Thanks to MarkFive05 I have a new theme video that I hope you all will remember me by: BAM BAM
Now that sounds reasonable
I tend to overreact due to the hatred spewed in Addai’s direction all the time here. I just want people to understand that he is what he is and he helps our offense run alot when we call plays to his strengths.
I also wish I had time and motivation to blog at Speed Blue Nation
I'm not one of those guys ;)
But I’m very very high on Brown. I really think he has talent and the physical skills we’ve been looking for and needing at RB.
Thanks to MarkFive05 I have a new theme video that I hope you all will remember me by: BAM BAM
And I would agree there
Brown is going to be special for us I think. I believe that he will help us keep Addai, by taking touches and lowering his salary expectations. And I believe that together they could form a very formidable rushing tandem – if we improve the right side of our line.
I also wish I had time and motivation to blog at Speed Blue Nation

I was worried about Brackett and Hayden being out.
Brackett was already missed with that horrible PI by Keiaho. Brackett never does that.

Addai is better in the passing game

Addai is an awesome blocker
maybe they are equal as pass catchers, I haven’t seen enough of Brown to say that, but Addai is one of the leagues best in pass protection.

Colts averaging
5.3 yards a run
Arizona?
1.5 yards for 15 yards total in the half

Colts elite of the AFC. all other favorites have 1 loss except Bal, but we've owned them

Mine too
I’m up against Manning, though. I do have Steve “The Original” Smith to come tomorrow night so hopefully I can stay within 5 points or so.

I managed to get Manning, Clark, and Wayne
When I realized I was so Colts-heavy, I thought for a sec that it was maybe unwise, and then I thought “Naahh! I’ll take those odds!”
May the wind be always at your back, and may your placekicker have icewater in his veins.
I'll be honest guys
I was hopeful, but did not see this coming… god I hope we keep it up!!
How can you not love a team that does this?
Clark has gone from a TE, to a TE/WR, to almost pure WR, to now TE/WR with some 3rd down back type stuff
lines up in the backfield in the splitback, and gets the occasional carry

One great half of football… marked by people being pissy for the entire 1st quarter and now we have people claiming that we’re the best team in the AFC. sigh

Haha
True that. We have a few weaknesses, but nothing as blaring as we thought. Never too high, never too low. I think Tony had it right there.
I also wish I had time and motivation to blog at Speed Blue Nation
No doubt
He plays much more physical than his size, runs great routes, his hands have improved, and he has solid speed.

he's a solidly built guy
especially for a guy with deep speed.

I almost started Pierre this week!
I should have based on what my other receivers have done..
"Peyton Manning feels no pressure, he applies it"
Keep the ball away from AZ
I want the colts to own time of possession in the 2nd half! Show that they’re the most versatile team in the league!
The Cards are not smart.
They are being way too cute in their play calls. Delayed handoffs, flips behind the line of scrimmage, extreme play action on first and goal at the 1. None of those plays work against the Colts. The Jags, Texans, and Titans know this and don’t try that type of stuff. The Cards apparently haven’t figured it out yet.

Man, I need a life...
Random fact of the week from the empty void that is my mind: The Atlanta Falcons are the only NFL team to never have back-to-back winning seasons in franchise history.
In a way it kind of makes sense
They think the Colts will rush up the field, thats way they run the delays. The only thing is, the Colts arent stupid enough to fall for it as they know people are expecting the ends to go up field.

Garcon went to High School
at John I. Leonard in Lake Worth, Florida. Wife went there.
The Cards shoudve scored there but wow to think the Cards have no TD’s despite no brackett, hayden or sanders.
just phenomenal

Go Colts!
be careful!
the cards have a great offense and could score 21 points! TOO BAD we have a great offense too and we can score 21 more ;) haha
Go Colts!
Wayne and Garcon
are two world-class receivers!
I'm impressed
I thought it was going to be ugly, but Charjon Rohnson is a workable LT
