Garcon!

I might be a little bit too optomistic, but I don't think so.  Pierre Garcon is beginning to look like a monster.  The way he is carrying himself on the field is just impressing the hell out of me.  I think he has an immense upside even after what he has already shown.  This second year player out of Div III is taking no crap from anyone.  He appears to be playing with somewhat of a chip on his shoulder, which I just freaking love.  The guy runs after the catch like a fullback with tailback moves.  Has a straight arm like a pile driver, and tries flat back guys he can't get around.  I have seen him put three guys in the grass and run through them on his way to clutch gains or TD'S.  Our other receivers will take a dive in order to avoid a hit, (which I don't disagree with in most cases), but Garcon will try to plant you.  You just gotta love this.

Exactly!!!

ask Rogers-Cromartie. Garcon is doing a wonderful job being another option for Peyton. did he even drop a pass last night? After the last two games opposing teams will have to respect him, even after Gonzo returns. wont that be fun to try to defend!

Peyton Manning's Trust....

I think he just earned it. Should consider adding him to your fantasy football teams now!

Garcon is a gamer, no doubt in my mind.

But did anyone notice this: when he was running with the ball, he strong armed the defender on the guys face mask bad enough for a penalty. Then the defender tackled him and taunted him while he was on the ground. Penalties offset each other. After Garcon got up Peyton ran over to him and had words with him. I’d love to know what P said.

You think P told him to calm down a bit

or to pick on Rogers-Cromartie some more? lol

"Do I believe in aliens?" Stephon Marbury asked. "I don't know, because I've never seen one. But I believe in Jesus because I saw him in the shower the other day."

After Garcon got up he turned his back to the taunter and pointed to the back of his own jersey,

That’s when Peyton went over to him and said something. I’m thinking he told Garcon, that’s not how we roll, or words to that effect. What amazes me about Peyton, is how he coaches up/ manages/ and is on top of those types of things, while the heat of the game is going on.

Not a fan of penalties, but

Garcon does not take crap from anyone. I like his attitude. He plays with a lot of attitude, I just don’t want to see him get too mouthy.

Garcon

I was one of those who were not sold on Garcon before the start of the season
and, I must say after back to back big games he is starting to make me eat my words.

Rogers-Cromartie isn't exactly a big guy

You or I could probably give him a stiff arm for a bit if he didn’t have a runup.

Garcon’s been very good but I think I’ll wait to see how he plays against a team with corners who aren’t awful before I dive onto the bandwagon. Good signs to start with, though, and he’s a playmaker.

I Agree

I’m still not completly sold.

Garcon has potential

I think it’s a little early to call him Garcon the Great, but he’s definitely showing some potential. I like his speed. He’s looked good when he ran that option play and he definitely is good at beating his defender on the route. Now if he can start jumping up in the air and catching balls like Reggie, then we really have something special. That would be like having two Reggie Wayne’s and that would be AWESOME! Hopefully his hands keep getting better at catching the ball and he becomes a great wide receiver. Don’t overlook Collie though. He’s looking a lot like Gonzalez and has some potential too.
